      Old news

i think when a topic hasnt had any posts for about 2 weeks it should be erased i cant be bothered coming here anymore because ive read everything that interests me and you dont know where a new topic will be.

for instance in beyond dreaming theres about 200 pages of old topics and if someone decides to make a new one while in the middle of these i imagine it would be there

Yes, and any information gleaned from those old threads is also lost.

Unless otherwise stated, views expressed in this post are not necessarily representative of the official Dream Views stance. Hell, it's probably not even representative of me.

No, all new topics appear on the top. Deleting very valulable topics would muck up tutorials, make us sort of go backwards (as Placebo's said already), and make us lose alot of google references too...You can easily weed out topics that you do like with Favourites, and then just flush them out as time goes on....

I don't know of a forum anywhere that deletes old topics...that'd be like going to a library and throwing out old books: lots of valuable information would be lost.

As stated, everything is sorted chronologically, so all the new stuff appears at the top...also, the forum flags all the new topics for you and we have a mod installed that maintains a post's status even if you don't read it and log out; thus, it's kind of very easy to see the new stuff.

anyway, I'm sorry to hear you'll be leaving us. thanks for sticking around for a little while I guess.
Each new day is a chance to turn it all around.
