I personally would suggest achieving an obe without the use of drugs, would be much more fulfilling that way. However a nice strong/big hit of saliva divinorum can yield some pretty strong but short psychedelic experiences including feelings similar to an obe. But still even a shroom trip cant really compare to a non drug induced obe. Time and practice will pay off in the long run, drugs.... wont.

Salvia litterally forces you into an LD from waking state, making you dream for a couple of minutes and then you're back into reality. Very cool experience, takes a few tries before your body gets used to it and before it will take effect tho.

To me, theres very little difference between the salvia experience and WILDing. Except salvia seemed to induce a theme setting unknown to my usual dreams.

This man speaks the truth. Though I have no psychedelic drug experience of my own, anyone I've ever talked to about it or anything I've ever read has always indicated that such substances should consumed with good company, while in a happy mood, and in FAMILIAR and COMFORTABLE surroundings. I wouldn't recommend giving them a try for the first time when all three of these don't apply to the situation.

I used to shroom in the woods.

And I've had my worst shroom experience in an enclosed space. I don't suggest tripping balls and walking around cities.

The illegal psychedelics are the best available most often.

I'm not sure of its legality in Amesterdam, but you might check into trying to find some Salvia Divinorum, a (mostly) legal hallucinogen that can be found in most any head shop in the United States. It is smoked through a pipe/waterpipe, and comes in various strenghts. I've never tried it myself, but my friends who have tell me that it's essentially the equivalent of a full length mushroom trip (that usually lasts 8-12 hours) condensed into about a 10-20 minute period....very intense but very short. I'm not sure how much mind expanding you'll be able to fit into trying to see past the skulls and talking dandelions while the walls swirl in yellow and pink stews of color, but if you do give it a try, let us know how it goes for you. But please to verify that this substance is legal there, as well as anywhere else you or whomever else reads this post chooses to purchase/consume it.

I was recently talking to a guy who's favorite thing is ketamine, an animal tranqualizer. He tells me it produces an a type of OBE state. Makes me wonder if that's the reason they only use it on animals.

Because it's a dissociative - the same type of drug as PCP. Sure they're effective at what they do, but there are many unwanted side effects that present themselves in human use, as well as drugs that do the same thing if not better, with fewer side effects.

if thats what you believe, I wouldn't use drugs. it wouldn't be wise running around in another reality, interacting with other beings, even alien beings when your high. AP'rs believe, some of these beings are not so friendly - and who knows how vulnerable the drugs has made your energy body

its better to just go the natural route

From what I heard its nothing like mushrooms. From what I heard its nothing like any other substance. I do know it is in no way a party substance but it may suit your purposes. I wrote up a long thing detailing experiences I had and people I know have had on Salvia but it got erased when I tried to submit it. I'm not typing it up again but what I basically said was salvia is powerful, very powerful, and should be treated with respect. If used after you ingest it immediately try to go into a WILD, so use in the same setting you'd normally do that in (dark quite place where you will not be disturbed) preferably with a close friend keeping an eye out for you just in case. You should have powerful weird lucid dreams that are rapidly changing setting. You may meet one or many entities, become an animal, person, or object. Or may live a complete life as a stranger, have an OBE, travel through other universes and space, and virtually anything and everything in between. May sound like an advertisement, its not, most people don't like it at all. I only did an extract (54x) of it once, I liked it but its bizarre and difficult to understand and therefor integrate into everyday life. I'd try it again if it was legal here but the law changed since I tried it. My friends used to do it about once every year give or take. I recommend not using extracts as they are very very strong. It doesn't cause euphoria and isn't recreational in most people's opinion, but I'm assuming your not looking for that. Either way look into this, and look into doing it naturally. You may find the answers you looking for you don't need a substance for, hell you might not even need an OBE for them.

Most importantly, even if you ignore everything else in this post, don't do something because of what someone on this or any other forum/website said. Research everything thoroughly, be safe, be careful, and be smart.
