I can say that sometimes i feel something like this.

      I dont know if it's relevent.. ↓

For example i was very eager to learn to use power in real life.
And once i put my skills to "ultimate test":

      It was few years ago.
I was sitting in my high school auditorium during my study hall.

I had nothing to do, so i decided to use magic...

There was a "National Honor society" banner with a wooden torch on it,

hanging above the stage. I chose it as my target. For about 5 min i sat

there, focusing on it, and trying to make the torch fall to the stage and

make noise. Well, nothing happened and after initial 5 min i gave up.

I dont know how much time have passed, but my guess is another 5 min

passed. 2 guys entered the stage and began to take down the banner.

As they lowered it, they made some kind of mistake and the torch fell off

the banner and fell to the stage. With a loud thud. I can still see it falling

down in slow motion and the sound seemed supernatural to me... I was

totally shocked for the next 2 days or so... I believed in the magic...

There was a thread around here somewhere on this. It spoke of using passive control. Wanting something to happen, but not focusing on it or willing it directly, just passively. Hope I am making sense.

Well, anyway, I did this one time at a Microsoft MSDN presentation I went to and won a copy of Visual BASIC .NET

Really freaked me out since I had read the thread only a couple of days before.

      There is SOMETHING going on...
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Yeah there's an author out there name Jean Baudrillard who has a book called Simulacra & Simulation where he talks about this concept of pre-willing events to happen. Seekers right in regards to Passively willing events to happen. But Jean talks about the direct relation toward your own mind control taking presedence over reality related events in your everyday lives, sort of like Mind Manifestation. For instance if you say over and over to yourself that you're going to catch a cold during the winter chances are you're going to catch a cold.

Of course you can change it, however it depends upon what's going to happen.
But i have a feeling that you are much more likely succeed if what you are going to change does not affect you. If material gain or fear is in effect you will fail...

For example - doesnt matter how hard you want to win the lottery, you will never do it.
