Thread: Does Astral Projection prove there is an afterlife?

I don't think that it is our soul leaving our body, just our consciousness...

So, I would say it is not proof.

Wouldn't it just be a dream then? Can you change the scene, make people appear, etc?

Afterlife in general, no specific religion.

I believe that OOBEs prove an afterlife: we are not just our physical bodies. Our consciousness survives physical death. It has in fact done this many times, and your own unconscious mind retains the memories of many prior lifetimes, and existance as a soul without a phycical body. This is why most of us have a profound desire to believe in an afterlife: because deep down we already know.

If AP were 100% real (I'm not saying it isn't, just not sure) it wouldn't prove afterlife, there is the chance that the "soul" needs a body to survive, meaning that when you and your body die, your "soul" would die along with it.
Probably will take a little longer, but still will die <.<

For those that can do OBE remember that the JREF foundation still has that one million dollar prize to anyone that can prove in an objective test that any sort of paranormal ability exists. Seems like a quick million if somebody's got the ability to prove it.

Mehh I think if it were real, someone would have put something next to someones bed while the person has an "OBE"

Then that person could say what that item is, if this does not happen it is a dream.

for me, it would prove an afterlife. because this "astral plane" is suppose to be non physical right? then it should stand to reason that if the physical part of ourself dies, then the non physical should live on.
