Yes, I've experienced that several times. I thought of the idea for in-line skates a year or two before they hit the market. Still kicking myself for not doing something about that one.

I've had several times in something minor was inventive after I thought of it. Those battery powered touchlights for closets and sound activated lighting are two of my big ones. Oh yeah, and the electronic health warning necklace.

Ive had this happen on several occaisons. My first time trying Psilocybin mushrooms I had circular thought patterns around how the world and everything in it couldbe classified as 1's and 0's, 1 being the finite reality and 0 being infinite possibility. I then started thinking about how everyone's world is completely different, and only the things that we all agree exists can make it into physical reality. A few weeks later Im surfing Wikipedia and discover an article on Consensus Reality, that being the outside physical world.

A few months later I see "What the Bleep do we Know" and am introduced to basic Quantum theory, many aspects of which I had previously thought about unknowingly during psychedelic experiences.

That is what I saw. It was a great show.

what were the contents of that show?

Basically the show started out with Einstein's attempt to make a theory to explain everything. It show stages up to current time. The last was a segment on "M" Theory, based on String theory with 11 dimensions instead of 10. The basics of "M" theory is that everything, including all aspects of time and space, is actually part of a membrane and not individual components that interact with each other. When they do the math of it, basically it becomes the most refined theory, able to explain all existence since the big bang, and even mildly that event too. One thing that happened when the membrane theory was intraduce they discovered the likely hood of other membranes that should exist and they would be something like other parrallel universes.
