      future dreams

i, without a doubt, am sometimes shown the future in my dreams. im a lucid dreamer with 99% control of them but the future seeing dreams are always non-lucid (well at least the 3 times its happend). i saw somthing recently in a dream that i think will be the future but i have to wait until november when the event takes place to be certain. can anyone relate to this?
      any thoughts are welcome.

Yes. I get that very often. Though my dreams are more like, if you took random ten word fragments from a book then put them all into one sentence, so the future bit is somewhere amongst the rubbish, but I do get such dreams very often.

I also get it when not dreaming, so it could be just me. I'm very random and while I'm thinking about anything my brain's spinning away at what if's, so it wouldn't surprise me if one of them came true. Which they often do :]

I dream of the future, but I'm not sure how many times though. The last dream I had was very strange. I don't want to tell anyone about it because it's kind of personal and might think I'm crazy.

Oh, I had another thing. Yesterday while going home I remembered Ken Lee (funny video of asian woman singing european song) and today when I went shopping I heard the original song on the radio.

Yesterday I also had a weird melody in my head and while going home today heard someone playing it really loudly on their stereo.

Neither were dreams, though, so :/

      *shrugs*

I dreamt about a very close friend of mine a few months back. In the dream we were standing around in the street talking about our relationship (yeah we had a "thing" a few years ago). And all of a sudden she tells me how she doesn't love her boyfriend, and never really did. Her feelings for me on the other hand, had stayed with her all this time. I replied that I had known that from the start.

I felt a bit weird upon waking up from this dream, as I hadn't thought about her in that way, or dreamt of her in a long time. Felt a little bittersweet.

Anyway. About a month ago me and her were just hanging out in the garden when she, after a few glasses of wine starts going on about everything that happened between us 6 years ago. And eventually she tells me exactly what she told me in my dream.

Later when the initial chock of her revelation had settled I thought how similar it felt to that particular dream. Very deja-vu-ish

It happened to me in a non-lucid dream once where in the dream i was ordering a kebab and a little boy and his mother were beside me and the little boy started shouting and saying "i dont like this place, i wana go to Tidy Doffer"

you have to understand that the "Tidy Doffer" is a local restaurant about 5-6 miles away from where i live.

The mother kept saying "we cant anymore, we cant anymore"

I didnt really think anything of this until the next morning when my mum was watching the news then came and told me that the Tidy Doffer burnt down last night................

i believe that its a coincidence but HEY!

This kinda happened to me once in an LD...

In the dream, it was my first LD, I was walking down my street, and I see my friend typing on a laptop...

The next day in school he said, "Look at my new laptop!" I did and it was the same one I had seen in my dream...

That's so cool. I have learnt that my future dreams are usually about six months from the dream. I learnt at a young age to listen very carefully to my dreams. My dreams have helped me, my family and friends.

I've had similar experiences myself.. I've had this very long dream where in the end of the dream, suddenly, out of nowhere, my phone went off and it magicly turned into MSN. Some girl I hadn't talked to in a long long time messaged me. When I woke up, and checked my computer, I had a msg from her on MSN! This is the first time I ever dreamt about MSN, or about her. I've had more experiences like this, but I've always thought they were coincidence.. now I don't see anymore how this could be coincidence.

You mean prophetic/clairvoyant dreams? I've only had two of those but boy were they something.

My first one came early January 2008. It was my friend Ashley, her deadened body in the dark street. Something told me it was a suicide. Awaking from the dream, it was a little disturbing but I passed it off as an odd dream. The next day I was on MySpace and her username read "RIP Ashley". I thought it a joke and sent a message about the dream. Then later I found out from a mutual friend that she had died thayt night because of an overdose of sleeping pills. Whether or not it is suicide I can't know for sure but it shook me up.

The next one happened June 2008. A friend of mine who I've long admired hadn't said anything to me for months, since he had dropped out of school. I dream that he returned to school and I promptly hugged him and we chatted a little. Well, the next day I'm on G-mail and he's online! I told him of the dream and he found it odd.

This is interesting. I've always been the reverse. I occasionally get deja vu ahead of the fact, or remember something that hasn;t happened yet, but in dreams (even false awakenings, the ones that go on for days), I don;t recall a single thing that later came true (aside from, say, scheduled events, which would often turn out different from the false awakening). I think it would be nice to know things ahead of time from dreams.
