I Dreamt I Saw A Stranger's Dream
I've spent the last 20 minutes searching for my original post and have not been able to find it, so I've decided to post it again.
I've been lucid dreaming for many years now and atleast 80-90% of my dreams are lucid ones. As of late my ability to change and control all aspects of my dreams, has become increasingly easier/stronger.
About a week ago, I met someone. Our conversation was very short. Basically small talk. I didn't get more than an age, location, and his sign. I didn't even talk to him long enough to get a name!
Despite this, that night I went to bed and dreamt of him.
I dreamt that I could see what he was dreaming. He was dreaming about a video game. A first person shooter. I wasn't sure which one. Counter Strike, maybe Halo 2.
The guy was standing there next to me. We were watching his dream together, being projected in mid air in front of us. I think this was when I realized I was dreaming.
"Why are you dreaming about that? You could be dreaming about something so much cooler." I said to him.
He seemed so sad, disappointed in himself. "I can't help it. I can't control what I dream, it's not my fault." He confessed.
"But you can control your dreams. You just need to learn how." I said to him.
I woke up with this overwhelming feeling that I was supposed to teach him all I know about lucid dreaming, and share all my techniques and experiences with him.
I woke up and dismissed the dream. I couldn't tell this stranger I had dreamt about him. He'd think I was crazy.
The next day, we spoke again briefly. He mentioned being into astrology and "that" kind of stuff. I started to wonder, and began to feel that perhaps he'd be interested in lucid dreaming.
As the days went by, something kept nagging at me, till eventually I had to ask him. "I know this might sound like a really weird question, but can you lucid dream?"
He was a bit freaked out by my question and informed me that he was currently reading the book "Lucid Dreaming".
About 2 days later, I told him about the dream I had about him. He was quiet at first, and then said "It was Halo 2. I was dreaming about Halo 2." He actually did have the dream I saw, around the same time I had mine.
As I explained to him what he said to me, and how he felt in my dream, he admitted that that was exactly how he felt about it in real life.
This whole thing seems to extend the beyond the realms of lucid dreaming, but I'm rather freaked by the whole thing. I've never even met this guy, I have no idea what he looks like, he even lives in another country!
Why was I able to see his dream? I feel like I owe him something, or that he needs my help. Why do I feel so connected to this person?
Any thoughts, theories, information or advice would be much appreciated.

<!--QuoteBegin-icedawg Late Tuesday evening our forum was hacked: all posts and forums were erased. Fortunately I discovered this shortly after it happened, and we have a full backup from December 13th. I realize that's a week old, but it could have been a lot worse; everyone who registered after that date will have to register once again, and I apologize for that inconvenience.
