Perhaps you're cousins with Captain Obvious.

People can seriously read my thoughts not just one but MANY TIMES. For example:
You know those sign twirlers advertisements? Right when drove by one I thought "Wow he is not doing a good job swinging the sign" RIGHT then he started acting like a maniac.
Summer school, teacher walks in yelling because someone wasn't doing something right. I thought, " He is being a dick" a few minutes later when things calm down he starts talking and he looks at me and says "you may think I am a dick, it's true, but I can help you guys " HE LOOKED AT ME when he said that. Just a few days ago I was walking down the hall singing a song in my head. My mom was in her room and said "what?" I didn't say anything and she said "Were you singing a song?"
What is going on here -_-" I don't want to think something and the person can know what I am thinking if it's bad.
These were just a few examples.

Perhaps you're cousins with Captain Obvious.

I could be. My grandma says I am related to Al Gore, Dog the Bounty Hunter and Robert E. Lee.
I don't believe it but it's a possiblitity.

In all seriousness, the body language of some is quite obvious to others, or others are more attuned to the emotional states of others. Perhaps you project your thoughts and state of mind through your body language or attitude more easily than most people.

They weren't even looking at me though. In one of my examples I said my mom was in her room and I was in the hallway. The teacher one had his back turned.

My first theory was that everyones mind is very much a like, and that synchronous events are more likely to occur because of this. Also like Daniel said, I thought the subconscious notices the body language, and thats how we tune in on eachother. But when I started to experiment with this and consciously try out some stuff, I was quite sure it has nothing to do with body language, and I can't find any other explanation than the following...
My new theory is that we all have the same mind, very much like there's only one dreamer, and we are the dreamcharacters... I've had things like this happening over a 100 times in the last few months, so it can't be just coincidence. And they didn't just happen by accident, most of the times I did it on purpose. Like when I'm looking at a girl from behind, and I think.. nice ass, then she touches her ass. Or I think.. "let's stand on the other leg".. and she does just that. Or this one time a lady is walking past me, and I think "FUCK shes ugly" and right then, she stops, turns around, and stares me right in the face as if I said it out loud. Or I'm planning a practical joke on someone, but I decide not to do it, and then that guy pulls the exact same joke on me. etc...
Carl Jung also believes we have a shared consciousness, he has many cases in which family members or people who are close share dreams. (which I also personally experienced a few times). Maybe this shared consciousness is also accessible during daily life for the ones who are tuned into it.
This is of course all just speculation, maybe there's a better explanation for it, but thats the best I can come up with..

I know this to be true, my husband and I finish each others thoughts a lot- like the other day we were laughing because we were going to play pictionary with some friends later and we kick some seriouse *%@ at that game. I said "I could draw a peice of string floating in mid air connected to a box" and then I thought to my self and you would guess tit was the Eifil Tower and not even 2 seconds later he said exactly what I had thought "and I would guess it was the Eifil Tower or something". And we were talking on the phone lol. I think that we do have a collective conciousness and I also think body language has alot to do with it. If your face looks like you are thinking that I am a fat ugly cow or a dick you might not even realise it-but I will. Also I talk outloud alot-or I think outloud maybe you do the same and don't relise that you are actually saying outloud what you are thinking.

So we are screwed?
This is not good. This is NOT good!
For example a 16 year old is still going through puberty and the hormones are raging. At the orthodontist the girls there put their breasts right in front of me, nothing they really can do but still. I was like oh hello hi hello there. If people an read my mind, this isn't good and it's not like I can stop the thoughts.

Hahah, yeah but they could have guessed by the bulge in your pants anyway.

As rediculous as it sounds, I really believe I have the same problem. Maybe people just notice our body language and facial expressions more? I have not been able to come up with a good explanation for it.

Reading people is the only thing I'm good at and the only thing about myself of which I'm truly proud.
I used to read tarot cards for people and interpret their dreams. But, truth be told, I read them more than I did their cards or dreams.
People often do indeed give themselves away, as Daniel and others pointed out. Even if a person can't see us, we give off vibrations on a subconscious level and some people are more sensitive than others about picking up on it.
That's probably all it is and nothing more.
But, on a practical note, how old are you? At certain ages people go through stages of "magical thinking". I myself used to think if I stared at someone's head long enough I could silently influence them to behave certain ways or do certain things. I was also heavily into witchcraft and spiritism back then which helped my thinking along.
If it really bothers you (something you're not merely curious about), watch the things you read about or watch on tv etc. Even the people we hang around can influence our behavior to one degree or another.
On another note, if it continues or get worse, you should see a doctor because some mental illnesses manifest themselves in such ways.
But my guess is, what you're going through is perfectly normal for your age. The world is full of things people try to understand. Even if you're highly intelligent and well rounded, the brain has to process information in ways that we can understand on all levels (including our level of emotional maturity which is often-times different than our physical maturity).
That's happened to me too. Sometimes I'd raise my hand in class and someone beats me to it and says the exact thing I was going to say. Not just the answer, but the same phrasing. One time in fifth grade I raised my hand and got the feeling someone else was going to use my answer, so I decided to test it. I changed the wording in my mind and thought, "Um, I'm not really sure, but I think the answer might be nine." I was only half-surprised when a kid across the room said that word for word.
More and more recently, people (my mom and best friend especially) suddenly turn around to look at me and say, "Did you ask me something?" when I had just been thinking of a question and whether or not I should ask it.
I've felt like I could read other people's minds sometimes. I was at a friend's house with some other people, and two of them were getting drinks in the kitchen. I couldn't hear anything they were saying because we had music playing, but then one of them suddenly looks out the doorway and gives me a huge smile. Right then I knew that my friend told her that I was lesbian, and I knew then that she was one too.
It's also strange how (at least with me), my mind becomes in tune with the people I'm closest to. We'd have the exact same thought at the same time, or one person says something the other person was just about to say.
Body language can contribute to it, but that's not always the case. I've flat-out lied to some people (with good reason), and since I was looking them right in the eyes (a sign of a clear conscious), they never caught on. Body language helped me there, but when a lot of this stuff happens I'm not looking at the other person.
Some people project their thoughts more than others. Anybody can read minds, in fact human beings used to read each other's minds before we developed language, before we lost our openness with each other, when we decided we wanted secrets and lies.
The problem is we've pushed this ability deep into our unconscious so now often times we pick up on other people's thoughts and we believe they're just educated guesses. We don't see how much we read people, how much communication still takes place telepathically.
Don't listen to people who think you are nuts, until you start actually hearing voices telling you to do things or kill.. You should be good.
"That's the effect of living backwards, it always makes one a little giddy at first--""Living backwards!" "I never heard of such a thing!" "--but there's one great advantage in it, that one's memory works both ways." "I'm sure MINE only works one way." Alice remarked. "I can't remember things before they happen." "it's a poor sort of memory that only works backwards,"
This is actually not very uncommon. It's possible to project your thoughts, but I don't think it's in the way that you're thinking it is. When you think something, your brain does several things. First of all, your body is constantly releasing pheromones of varying types, most of which can be picked up on by other humans, and recognized on usually a subconscious level. That, coupled with body language explains a lot of cases, but not all of them.
The following is just my opinion.
Thinking involves brainwaves. I would assume that since we can hear a sound, and replicate the exact sound in our minds without making an audible sound, that these particular types of brainwaves in our mind are the product of the replicated sound. My theory is that thoughts can either be kept to our immediate surroundings, or projected (without our conscious efforts) as brainwaves.
All things vibrate, some things resonate, other things do not. I like to look at this in a similar way to sound. The human ear is capable of hearing sounds in a frequency range from 20hz to 20 khz. I believe that brainwaves are a different type of energy, but share common characteristics (I can't find the word I'm looking for) with sounds in frequency ranges far above or below those frequencies, beyond those capable of the human ear.
Think of the last time you had a song stuck in your head. You obviously couldn't physically hear the song, but it's as though you could, right? That's how I think brainwaves operate. I think your brain can capture a sound wave, and replay it as brainwaves, at a much higher frequency, that you can only "hear" or "decipher" in your mind.
Similar to the volume knob on a stereo, if you think at a "quieter" level, your brainwaves do not travel far enough to be percieved or "heard" by other people's minds. However, if they are close, your you think the thoughts at a "louder" level, or different frequency, perhaps other minds can hear you.
If any of that is true, perhaps you have some sort of genetic anomoly (but not necessarily problematic anomoly) that causes a higher ratio of your thoughts to be projected at a frequency or "volume" that other people can pick up-- even if it's on a subconscious level.
I just totally pulled all of that out of my ass, I have no reason to believe it's true, and neither do you, but it's entertaining to pretend it's actually true. But I do think it makes sense. Sorta.

LOL ok WOW!!! are you sure you're just thinking?? maybe you're talking out loud without even noticing! Lol
Maybe you have a more powerful mind than you think.... some people are born with these faculties... if i were you i'd try to explore that little gift of yours (assumning it is a gift, and not that you're just giving away with body language) maybe in time and practice you learn to control what people "hear" from you and just maybe even read their minds!how cool would that be!! read more about telepathy and that sort of thing... maybe you find something like what you're going thru... in my opinion its awesome! in certain ways, cuz you're right, what if its something, you really don't want people to know!
I get the whole 'hello-hi-hello'! thing now LOL its funny, good luck!

The same things happens to me all the time. Its like people can read my thoughts. Ill think something and people know what i thought.
I think all our sub consciousness's are linked together through the electromagnetic field are body gives off. I think we are all connected.
I will think things, and people know what im thinking, But they dont in there conscious brain, it happens in the Sub Conscious.
It sucks even more for me, because i got hit in the head a while back, and its harder for me to control my thoughts, so ill think negitive things at times, but not on purpose, and people respond to my thoughts, its.... fucking weird
I wish i knew how to harness this power, it seems that the more i try and control it, the less it works, but the less i try, the more it works.
Im glad im not the only one who has this, it means im not crazy!
