I first heard mention of the concept known as "the Jewel of Knowledge" in a comment posted on a YouTube video.
It mentioned something about shifting the dimensions that you are percieving or something, some technique to allow humans to see the other dimensions through mind-training or something. Sounded like an interesting read even if it turned out to be bullshit so I set about finding more stuff about it and figuring out what it was
I Googled it and found almost nothing.
The only results I got that seemed to be talking about the thing that the YouTube commenter was talking about were incredibly cryptic and mystical-hippy sounding (you know what I mean).
Can someone who has knowledge of this concept please explain it plainly and in a way that makes sense, for my sake and everyone else's? Please?
I will worship whoever manages to do this
And if you provide a link as well I will double-secret worship you![]()

Heh, close enough. It was the first thing the thread title reminded me off.
I normally wouldn't trust anything written on a comment section from Youtube, that's like the Internet trash bin.
- Are you an idiot?
- No sir, I'm a dreamer.
Yeah the philosophers stone was also the first thing that came to my mind
Anyway.. never heard of the jewel of knowledge, but I know one way to see into other dimensions, lucid dreaming!

I searched "learning to see different dimensions" after reading your post about the Jewel of Knowledge. There were a number of articles that addressed developing awareness of different dimensions in the mystical sense (i.e., learn how to see an aura through relaxation and meditation), but I did find a page from a book called "Shadows of Reality: The Fourth Dimension in Relativity, Cubism, and Modern Thought." about techniques some scientist were developing to teach students to actually see complex, four dimensional shapes in... um... four dimensions. Anyway, I'm probably not saying it right - it's pretty dense with info - but you can check it out here: http://books.google.com/books?id=LZL...sult#PPA101,M1
So, no mention of any Jewel of Knowledge, and it's not a simple explanation in plain language, but there's at least some scientifically quantifiable info to chew on.
jewel of knowledge, sorcerers stone, another one would be the hymn of the pearl? always something shiny

Achievements:
I've heard the term in relation to enlightenment and kundalini awakening in Hindu mythology. I can't remember anything specific. I agree that it sounds like a general metaphor for enlightenment, similar to the philosopher's stone already mentioned.
