      OBE Question

      in an OBE must you be able to see your physical body at rest?
      ie, is it possible I am having an OBE if:
      I am sleeping and get up from my resting position and begin to "lucid dream" from that point?

      I've had two OBEs, and in neither one did I see my body sleeping.

      Well, no, not necessarily, but if you do, that's the classic OBE scenario.

      If your "body" is not there, it's not an OBE, and even if your "body" IS there, it's not unknown for DCs to impersonate the dreamer in a lucid scenario, making such a dream a non-OBE in the classic sense.
