It could have been the onset of an accidental WILD, or just a dream. OBE's are not real.

Yes i disagree on that, all dreams are for sure not obes!
Then you dont accept the power of suggestion of your consciousness and brain.

And you also have fake obes!
My experience it that a real obe is rare and in the realm of a near death experience.
also those ppl that have a nde experience (obe real one) are changed for good.
75% has a heaven experience mostly and 25 % hell experience and are traumatised for the rest of there lives.
Difference with a fake obe...dream obe, is that ppl never meet the dead!
And when they test they find out its a suggestion level.
The near death experience isnt a suggestion level, but u meet the dead thats for sure.
witch is logical if a real obe does exist, i mean, then life goes on, so not weird u meet the ppl that died also.
in a fake obe lol ppl meet often no one at all but they claim to be astral.
Also in real astral u cant create what u want, in fake dream obe u can like in any dream u can.

I could also give proof why dream obes are not really astral.
Do some research on the visual cortex at rem sleep and deep sleep
also is logical semi proof why a nde is not just antoher hallucination.

if your dreaming you are in the astral


thoughts manifest to you there. hence you can control your dreams.

If you read any works by samael aun weor you can understand where I come from. While I don't know if I actually beileve my statement, for lack of beileif in actual O.B.E's I will say that if they are real, all dreams are cases of it aside from Hypnogenic images.

Moved to Beyond Dreaming (this is specifically about OBE'ing).

i might have had an out of body experience a couple of times but im not sure...i remember feeling as if i was being pulled out of my body..but i didnt see my body but remember being stood by my door

this week ive been lucid and opened my eyes and seen a black cloud but in it is the kitchen and im floating around looking at the tv which is turned on. the next day i had the same thing but the tv was off...and im a bit confused. :S

Supposedly a dream is a lower astral plane projected inside the etheric body. Effectively a new copy of concioussness. (Supposedly.) The principles towards OBE and dream induction and recall are very similar? Maybe the skeptics are getting the theory backwards? I could use that same justification to say that all dreams are OBEs.
