a precognitive dream i had.

i had a dream about three weeks ago i was sitting on a wooden two seater chair that had three pieces of wood to hold together. my friend kurt sat down next to me and invited me to a party. then i ate some marshmellows. then my other friend jake said hello. then i was awakened and analysed the symbols in my dream.

three weeks later, it was yesterday. i was sitting on the wooden seat. then kurt came and invited me to this party. i was eating marshmellows at the time. i knew this had happened in my dream after the conversation had ended. and i was waiting for my friend jake to turn up. i forgot about it and about 5 minutes later i walked past jake and said hello.

this has happened to me alot. actually almost all of my dreams are precognitive but it's only i barely ever remember them, only like once a month and they are never in so much detail. the event usually happens about a day later.

aaaah.. my first case of jealousy (but I say that with great humor). I have pregonitive dreams quite often, but they are more detailed and they don't usually happen for 3-6 months (sometimes a year).

People have these types of dreams all the time but they see them as dey-zcha-vu (sp?).

usually if i have deja vu (correct spelling) i usually analyze how i found that moment as a sign of dejavu. Personally if i have dejavu alot of times its because of a subconscious dream that was lucid, but not recalled. Then when the dejavu happens its as if i always knew in the subconscious but not in real time.

deja vu is a phenomena that is created when the two lobes of your brain both perceive something and then, when they tell each other about what they've just seen (thats how they work), and one of them sends the signal faster than the other one...when the signal crosses over it is then recognized as having happened and thats how it makes sure a version is accurate, but when the slower signal gets to the other side they already have an instance of the exact same thing happening so it seems like youve 'been there before' ...not to burst your bubble or anything, you should believe what you believe regardless of anything i have to say...thats a fact

Thanks for the replies i just thought that a precognitive dream that was in so much detail and happening in three weeks later was rare it has never happened to me before or to anyone i have talked to about it.

yeah i have been keeping a dream journal it has helped me before. one time in my dream i got into a fight with someone then the next day something was stolen but i knew who stole it. hehe. it comes in handy. but last night i had a dream of sex i hope this one comes true. lol. cause around 90% of my dreams are precognitive.
