      Strange sounds and brain shocks

At night when I lay down to rest, usually after I am either tired, relieved, or very comfortable I feel strange sounds and shocks pulse through my brain. I will just be lying there and a feeling will shoot across my body. Eventually it reaches my brain, stalls for some time and lets off an electronic buzzing or fizzling noise. I'm curious as to what this is, I always assumed it was normal.
      I eat babies.
      Seriously.

It might be kundalini energy surging through your body. It's like Chi energy. You may want to take yoga to learn to harness. It can give you "psychic" abilities. Or maybe your bed is too close to the electric outlet!

I get that quite often also Energy Surging through the body and Buzzing Noises in the head. It usually happens to me during Sleep Paralysis before an OBE. To me its my indicator letting me know that an OBE is coming on.

Actually, doesnt this just always happen, like before you WILD? To me it does at least, it goes before I WILD. Then this small amounts of energy and strange sounds turn to heavy shocks and a loud noice, then I WILD.

I have come close to WILDs alot but I always pull out.
I'm not talking little feelings and sounds either. They are sometimes painful and the sounds are surprisingly loud and realistic. Maybe I am going crazy.

Yeah I had this once, but it kept repeating over and over till the point where I was terrified and I thought I was stuck in a time loop forever.

I couldnt move at all, and I felt like my body was part of my bed, like my head had been wielded to the pillow or something.

The sound was like having the side of a drill pressed against my head and it was so realistic and just kept on getting louder, but then I finally woke up and I didn't dare go back to sleep that night!
      Would you kiss-a my eyes

Yeah, some books say you will get a "tingly" sensation when you are entering a WILD...or something like that.

I had a painful sound in a reaccuring dream. There was a really, really high pitched scream that just went on and on in this dream, and it hurt my head so much I quickly learnt a way of waking myself up from it.

I've never managed to experience a Wake Induced Lucid Dream, though, I get too tired of it after 5 minutes, and give up.

nerve impulses are literally made out of electricity. when moving from one state to another- (say, alpha to delta) if you are at all conscious, which you have to be a little during a WILD, you can literally hear the electricity. this is one of the reasons that i believe these states are related to visionary phenomena and "borderland experiences." historically, during sightings of angels through contemporarily during sightings of aliens, people report the sound of "the buzzing of bees" or "the sound of rushing water." terrence mckenna has mentioned that during a DMT trip, he heard a sound like ripping cellophane. it is the electricity in our brain as the waves change, only we are conscious to experience it instead of in deep sleep
