lol you would be impressed of how many times I has heard similar things, tough that happens when you have so many adrenaline in your body, you can't even notice it you just do it.

When I was about 12 years old I was outside with about 5-6 of my good friends at the time in the middle of the night. We were going to another friends house and we were running for some reason I don't remember.
As we're running one of my friends is a couple of feet ahead of me and my other friend* with the other 4 or so following behind a little. My friend running next to me and I are just talking and we see our friend running ahead of us, same speed as before, no increase or anything.
Next thing you know we both look away for just a second and then look up again and my friend who was just 2-3 ft away from us is now 15 + ft away.
Astonished, I just looked at my friend next to me and was like, "Did you just see that?".
We just went on talking about what just happened and were stumbled if it were real or not. It was very real and I ponder that experience to this day.
Anyone else share a similar experience?

Yes, everything must be googled, after all it's top secret.

Yes, but it would be physically impossible to do, I mean we literally glanced away for a second it's like he magically jumped away from us...

It looks like a second... tough it isn't, there has been proof of that happening, and proof of things that can't be explained. Either that or you crossed a time/space hole. That would be lucky.

Yeah you would have to aggree, it's all trickery. Just be more wary of seeing yourself 20 feet infront of your sight (That'll get ya)

I don't know what it was that you saw, but teleportation is definitly possible. Austrian scientists have already shown that it is possibly, altough the latest I remember there were only able to teleport a single atom, but they did manage to

OMFG no waii.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/2049048.stm"I think teleporting of that kind is very, very far away," Dr Lam says. "We don't know how to do that with a single atom yet."
Quantum teleporting is problematic for humans because the original is destroyed in the process of creating the replica."

Yes, but there are two major differences. Firstly, we transfer properties, not matter... The original loses all its properties... We have no idea how we could produce these with larger objects..And it is a well-known fact that this is not particularly healthy for human beings. Secondly, you would take all the properties from a person and transfer them onto another. This means producing a being who no longer has any hair colour, no eye colour, nix. A man without qualities! This is not only unethical – it's so crazy that it's impossible to imagine.Oh my..The atoms in a human being are the equivalent to the information mass of about a thousand billion billion billion bits. Even with today's top technology, this means it would take about 30 billion years to transfer this mass of data. That's twice the age of the universe.![]()

Someone was watching a bit a bit too much of jumper...
But no, i do believe its possible to teleport. Not through actual teleportation like what the above poster was talking about, but more like the getting into a time hole or something.

Unfortunately that makes no logical sense.
Anyway, the frequently asked question; if your body was scanned, and then instantaneously destroyed and created somewhere else, would it still be you?
If yes:
What if the original wasn't destroyed? What if ten new yous were made?
If no:
Why not? Quantum physics shows us that two particles are exactly the same thing, not only indistinquishable but literally identical. Exactly the same person has been created; why wouldn't your consciousness be created with it?

You are aware of what teleportation is? Because it has nothing to do with 'getting into a time hole or something'.Not through actual teleportation like what the above poster was talking about, but more like the getting into a time hole or something.

I know exactly what Teleportation is. Its the moving from one spot to another without physically moving.
It can be done through time holes though, if you know what they are. Im not too sure that they exist but the theory is that you go through one and come out at a different spot in time, so you go through one and walk about 10 feet and appear a few seconds later 10 feet in front of where you were, seeming to teleport.
That is the only way that i can imagine teleporting, making each atom of your body go from one point to another by just wishing or something, it doesnt seem logical to me.

Doesn't sound very like teleportation to me. You have to go just as far, you've just done it quicker. Mathematically all you're saying is 'walk faster'.
There are methods involving travelling through holes in the spacetime fabric which could work if they exist, although again it's not really teleportation. Teleportation is generally instantaneously disassembling an object at one location and making it appear at another through some technological means. You're right that any wishful thinking New Agey stuff is nonsense, of course.

Its not neccesarily moving quickly. When you get in a supposed time rift, you appear anywhere in time, but you dont have to appear in the same place. This can mean you get in a time hole and appear somewhere else in a few seconds.

Its possible that with adrenaline running you just didn't notice your friend had got further ahead from you. Anythings possible. Keep on wandering about that experience, but its not objective proof.

Yes. I believe traveling from one point to another instantly is possible only through time rifts, and that is what teleportation should be classified as.
As to making these time holes in order to teleport? Good question, i would like to find out myself some day.

Let me get one thing straight:
You don't believe in Teleportation through technical means, but you believe in time rifts and black holes?
Somethings not right here ^^

Why dont you read before posting.
I dont believe in teleporting single atoms, it seems impossible to take a physical mass and make it appear somewhere else.
I do believe in a whole sh*t ton of things.
And i said before that im not sure if Time Rifts are real.
And black holes? Dude go outside and get some light. Scientists have proven black holes to be real, not on the earth of course but all over the universe. And also i havent said one thing about black holes.
Get your facts right before you add your two cents on something without giving any information on the subject at hand. Im all for noobs, but atleast be a good noob and read up on your information.
