Thread: Is there more to lucid dreaming than most of us realise?..

Is lucid dreaming and dreaming more than just our imagination? Is it more than just our mind creating a reality. Is this part of our spiritual connection with something alot bigger.

This video interview is really worth a watch if your intrested in your sub concious/concious mind, quantum mechanics and/or spiritual growth.

It's just what you believe in.

I would say anything is possible!

Like if your soul is connected to your body on another dimension. Like 2 magnets stuck to each other on a piece of paper and each on opposite sides.
The paper being the dimensional barrier (life/death)
Kill the body and the soul flies away free to find a new body to attach too.

Lucid dreaming may be able to penetrate this barrier, since the other side is on a different realm of existence, maybe based on thought in the first place.

Since human brains are designed to operate on this side of the "paper" we are not able to conceive what lies on the other side. The dreaming state may involve a tiny part of what is needed to think beyond our human capacity.

2 deep...?

You can believe that if you want, but where's the evidence? What reason is there to think that it's anything more than a creation of our mind? People who are searching for something deeper spiritually have a tendency to ad-lib.

Although thoughts like this are just a theory or guess, some are ideas are definitely more interesting than others.

Well, Theres god , i am a christian, so i believe in the after life and we have alot of proof to prove to people!

You said it. 10% of the population seem to be born with "a see it to believe it" attitude.

Unfortunately that same 10% is blind as well.

So do I, but that's not what we're discussing here.

If everyone would just agree that they really don't know sh#t about the workings of it all (dreaming, life, etc). Then it would stand to reason that many things, although still unknown, are possible.

Sure, and if everyone would just agree to MY opinion, things would be so much better. There is always going to be difference of opinion in the world.

Hm interesting video, not like it can be proved or disproved (yet), so I suppose it will remain as belief then.

It's not called being blind, it's just being smart and logical. Why believe in some higher might/spiritual stuff when you got no proof? If you have experienced it somehow your self then it would be logical, but if not then I see no reason to believe.

To me dreaming is just dreaming, nothing spiritual.

I'm a ridiculous individual who does believe in GOD. Some people do not need proof, some see proof, and some wouldn't see proof if it was staring them in the face.

Back on the subject of the forum... although crazy, what do we know. If we have 1% of the physical universe figured out so far that 99% to go sure leaves a lot of crazy possibilities. Crazy ideas like this one sure keep it interesting!
