I had a weird experience with my computer a long time ago... it kept turning back on...

My tv used to turn itself off and on all the time. I had forgotten about that, how funny. We just figured it was broke. It would turn on in the middle of the night sometimes, others it would turn off right in the middle of something we were watching. It had a mind of it's own. Another oddity about it was that when WE tried to turn it off, the sound would go off, and you couldn't change the channels or make it DO ANYthing, but... the picture would stay on, until whenever it decided to turn itself off.

Weird.. But do you think my dream could have to do with the tv turning off?

You sure it was a dream? Sure the tv wasn't off already, and you just dreamed that it was on? Maybe you just acted out your dream in reality. Maybe you were just half-conscious. Or maybe, somehow, the tv... got turned off because you willed it to. Who knows? I was just saying... it reminded me of my weird tv I had forgotten about.

ME2, well..it only happened once.

And for the TV thing. Maybe your power went out. My power was out at 5 am today. I dout u live near me thuogh to experience the power outage i had, but maybe you had one in your area too .

AHAHAH thats funney but i have an explantion. First off i think you half conciously turned off the T.V, HEAR ME OUT. This may have happend even while you percived dreaming. Ill share a story, its an entertaing tale so read it all, its not a wast of time.

Long ago, when i was about 14, i had a freind sleep over some reason, kept bugging me to come over. Well were in my room and i open the door cause the air condtioner suks and say its hot in here. So we stayed up late and i hit the sack while he contuined playing on the computer. Well i love to keep the door shut when i fall asleep cause it makes me feel more secure.

The next moring i wake up and the doors shut, its damn hot in the F***in room. He tells me i shut the door myself in the middle of the night, just got up shut the door and floped back to sleep. Well as you can guess i called him a damn liar and swore up and down i didn't. later that day im doing somthing and have a faint memory of getten up and shuttin the door. This = i shut the damn door.

This means you probaly turned off the T.V or some 1 who was peein in the night, saw a light in yo room and turned of your T.V



Now serinth, somthing was screwed up with your bios setting on your comp and or your power saver is set to go off after so many hours.

No because when it started I was standing in the middle of my room. And I acctually walked over and turned it off. And it was lilke fuzzy vision. So im confused.

It's called a hangover.

TRUST ME its still possible you turned off the T.V yourself, just didn't realize it.

Maybe you have a short power outage and the TV got turned off, or maybe the remote was lying on your couch and you sat your ass on it and turned it off!

I'd bet there's a "rational explanation" for this, but if anyone ever figures out how to manipulate TVs with their minds, drop me a line: I'd never have to worry about losing the remote again.

No because if the power went out the clocks would be blinking 12:00, But they didn't and the remore was on a table next to me.

Ok all of you shut up!!!!!! Its like the human mind is programmed to jump to the most complicated irrational explanation of what COULD have happened.

Of course the power going out or sitting on the remote is far from being an irrational thought, but PLEASE no one say that he willed the T.V. off with his mind.

Ok so you say the remote was on the table, your door was locked, your positive you didnt turn it off yourself, and the timer was not set.

I have the answer!!! My grandpa has an old stereo that does some pretty funny things. Atleast once a day this stereo would turn off or on and sometimes even change the radio frequency at completely random times.

Im almost possitive your T.V. just had some type of short circut or whatever you want to call it that caused it to turn off. Were not talking about a rock that flew to the other side of the room here, elctrical things are known to have issues and they can be at any given time.

Anyways, just my 50 cent.
