I mean to effect the "real world" as we currently know it. Wake up, go to the sink, and see bent spoons from trying to affect real spoons in a dream.

I still don't see the point of it. You can do more impressive things in a dream, like pass through walls or in a telekinetic sense move objects. Maybe that can help you develop activities in real life. I think meditation and energy work may achieve that more easily,

sometimes you gotta start small, most of us have been programmed so solidly, that even bending a spoon is impossible, let alone any of the other stuff in our dreams.
While lucid you are consious and you still have that programming, its hard to finaly realise that impossible is only that which has yet to be imagined..."A knight is sworn to valor.

Male, female, shemale, animal. I've never tried to be an inanimate object, but I am sure it is possible also!
EDIT: I've experienced some of these I've spoken of
weird to say the least! But I suggest you try....you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

uhh you can probably dream bending a spoon even if ur not lucid... lol anything in matrix is probably what you can do when ur lucid.. since it is "dream world" after all... there is no anything
