wow congratulations to you. Are you all hyped up now or did you just forget to turn of caps lock?
Anyway the first lucid dreams are amazing... and then they just start getting better.
About the shared dreaming, there are some post around here at the forum where it is discussed heavily. Its a good reading. Personally i think its possible with alot of training.

I tend to see at Lucid Dreaming/Obe as two differnt side of the same coin. Lucid Dreaming happens within you, in your mind. OBE happens outside you, like your mind is on a tour. But the boarder line between these two states is almost indistingusble(damn that is hard word, is it correct?) When in a Lucid Dream i also think what you meet is differnt aspects of yourself(I dont believe in god, but thats just my way). So to beg for help, of yourself, is a good way of dealing with problmes. Your own mind is a bigger problems solver than any computer, book, proffesional (input career name here). With Lucid Dreaming your nearer this potential than ever. So its a great way of getting to know yourself and work things out.

i actually had a lucid dream the other night where my husband was with me and i was telling him that whatever we did in public was okay because no one else could see us because they weren't real. still haven't asked him if he's dreamed anything similar. my mother has been told things in dreams by people she knows and found out soon after that they were true-- like "i can't find my husband!" turned out he had recently died and "you better call so and so" and when she called she found out there was serious trouble abrew. so if that is possible, i don't see why we can't at least communicate with each other in dreams.

i also have tried to communicate with god in lucid dreams, and got a pretty clear answer. once i dreamed i was in the break-room at work and decided to see if i could make jesus appear in one of the seats so we could chat and maybe i would benefit somehow. i was swimming through the air looking for him and when i couldn't find him i started to sink and thrash and i heard his voice say, "calm down. just tread water" so i did. satisfied. i got a message, which HAS benefited me time and time again since. i think lucid dreaming is a great spiritual communion tool. as for this, it makes sense to me that when you and i talk to god in an LD it IS part of a different aspect of ourselves, because we are all part of what makes up God.
