Thread: finaly

Welcome to the board!
As long as I've been here, the conversation seems to be pretty intelligent and is usually entertaining, there is lots of good information and knowledgeable people here.

me thinks sharing with a comunity of people who use surrealisim and trancendance in such an open and commonplace way will usher me into the next phase of advancement in my own personal life. seriously, my lifes been a little stagnant as far as having new revelations and generating new philosophies for myself and i think that ive just sortof used up this "stage" or "level" or "context" of my current life for these things. i think that exploring my mind and trancending through the surrealisim that is so prevelent in lucid dreaming will definately help me gain a "new" me. i hope for that anyway. its tough being the 16 yearold i am in a sea of immature and comparitively unmotivated or misdirected "children". ive felt alone and desired an equal for some time. somone i can relate to and confide in in such a way as to create a sort of partnership toward self betterment and what i call actual reality. but thoes kind of people are few and far between in my highschool setting and i think i have to search other comunities and societys to find this or these kind of people. thats half of why i came here and have an interest in LD and OBEs.

.... wow that was long and revealing. somthing tells me that you all will understand my situation. i dunno. its just that lately ive been feeling a VERY ambiguous mix of retrospective and introspective points of view along with a troubling feeling that i fallen into an antagonisim of sorts. sortof a me against the world thing. thats what i hope to circumvent here. by sharing with you

Or you can resize any picture yo have and use it.

Welcome to the board! If you're looking for intelligent conversations, stay clear of Senseless Banter! If you notice some of the little buggers wandering off topic and becoming somewhat inane, you're certainly welcome to remind them that intelligent conversations are preferred throughout the rest of the board.

Hey Emmet. I agree with you totally, our highschool is overflowing with minds craving philoposphy and intelligent thought. That is what got me interested in lucid dreaming, the power of it. Dreaming seems to be one of the minds most powerful constructs and it would be very fulfilling to study it first-hand in consciousness.

I wonder why all the intelligent/wise people, the people who are into such things like LDing and the like always have to be so extremely grown up,adult,serious and intelectual ^_^

Not offense people and im not saying you are( I dont know you) but im speaking in general, I dont have anything against it but it jsut annoys me sometime that wisdom and skill is always assosiated with being grown up,intellectual and..boring bleh, why oh why, why cant we all be silly and playful(dont confuse playful with childish! ^_^) , I mean you gotta be serious sometimes(sadly..)..but I dont really like people who are serious all the time and use the expensive wordies all the time. I mean thats no fun, well im silly figuring my astral self is a relatively young boy..

Just had to get that of mind, oki. Sorriez people who are offended by this, wasnt my intention, but I just am annoyed by very intelectual peops sometimes. Including myself when I try and be intelectual, thats why I prefer wisdom over intelligence...^_^

That happened on an old forum. Somebody decided to use an avatar that was 800x600 pixels. The adminstrator quickly turned on restrictions

when i write i like to use bigger words. It is kind of hard to be "playful" online. Anyway, in real life i like to be very energetic and wild. Heck, I am in drama and that is one crazy bunch o' folks.

the default was 60 * 60. i personally haven't been on a forum that's been as generous w/ avatar sizing as i am here. SO THERE, NYAH!

I duno... there is something about this topic that nessesitates seriousness.. I duno why, I gues because we are doing stuff that people have never dreamed of, hehe Ironicly enough... Its got Lost soul trying to take over the world me in a H.O.B.M and for a time in saranwrap pants, we got Slavemistress EP a revolt going on and other goofy stuff, we arent all seriousness we do have fun here =P

But we are talking about all of our dreaming/spiritual development, and there is just sometihng important about that =)

Yep totally agree w/seri, I think the seriousness is basically uncharted waters that we are all trying to understand. No one can figure out this concept of LDing because its truely beyond all of us if you really think about it. But being able to get a grasp on it makes it all worth while. People think it's nonesense or impossible but People always try to do away with things they cannot understand, or is on a level beyond them.
