      Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm not new to lucid dreaming, but I've only been consciously trying to induce them for the past 6 months or so as a kind of springboard to out of body experiences. I've had quite a bit of success so far, but I am here to get some help and learn methods of dream control. I also have excellent dream recall and could probably offer others advice if they need it with that. SO...nice site here, I'm glad I found it! I'll see you peoples around.

      i mostly just keep a dream journal, I also look through it a lot and I'm not sure how often most people go over their past dreams. And I'm a very light sleeper, anything and everything causes me to wake up and I usually have to force myself then to write down what i had been dreaming...even if it was something really boring. Not moving upon waking and just thinking and remembering also is a good idea..

      keeping a dream journal is key, and the best way in my experience to improve dream recall

      also, wrinting them down immediately when you wake up like you mentioned is really helpful, since we forget like 90% of what we dream about 10 minutes after waking up

      i keep i dream jornal and have gotten way better with dream recall, but im still trying to find a good method with inducing LDs so far...not much success
