    Was I Lucid Dreaming?

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night really thirsty, like de-hydrated, but when I get up and have a drink, my thirst goes away after the first gulp and I go back to bed.... I never really thought anything of it.

So I was just wandering if it was a lucid dream. Next time this happens I'll do a reality check. The only reason I didn't do one before was because I only found out about Lucid Dreaming recently.

    Thanks.

Hi. That is not a lucid dream A Lucid Dream is a Dream where you know that you are dreaming. You just got up in the middle of the night. Have you read the tutorials? Check out this page: http://dreamviews.com/community/showthread.php?t=69883

Maybe it wasnt , but you have to check. False awakenings are common, my very first lucid dream was a false awakening where I was in my exact same bedroom and I even showered! before noticing it was a dream. You should do a reality check the next time you wake up in the middle of the night, if you arent it would be a good oportunity to try the WILD method

If you think you may be having frequent false awakenings, be sure to do a reality check every time you wake up. Take a minute to ask yourself if you might still be dreaming, then do something to prove it. The idea is to catch yourself in a dream, prove it to yourself, then have fun with it.
