      To answer your own question, since frankly the details you gave are too vague for me to tell you, is to ask if you knew you were dreaming when you saw the person and hit the person. That's really all there is to determining if you had a lucid or not...

      So which one is it?

      If you answer yes, realize of course that there's much greater things in store for you than that as far as lucid experiences go.

      Full stories

      I dream complete stories. I can wake up from a dream & fall back asleep right back in the dream again. I am like my own movie theater. What is up with that and how can I use this to write books.

      Yeah, it's hard to say. Sounds like it could have either been a dream or just hypnagogia. If it was a dream, and you realized it was a dream, then it was lucid.

      Seems you've latched yourself to someone else's thread. Oh well. ^_^;

      I do what you do and often, kbugay, I can chain together four dreams all connecting one storyline. It's actually very common among dreamers with any kind of recall. So there's really nothing up with that, that's just the way it is.

      To better your fiction using dreams you can draw from various sources, specifically scenery and sometimes the occasional character. Maybe a dream plot could be stolen. If you keep a dream journal that it's like a treasure trove of ideas right before you.

      If you want to do what I do for fiction... than you'd MEI NETWORK!

      ...nevermind the ramblings of an old man. >_> <_<;

      Sounds like you were on the verge of a WILD, but still in the hypnogogic stages.

      Hmm... It sounds like you fell asleep for a second with some dream incubation... Then woke up. It could have been HI though... I need more details. Good work whatever it was though.
