Thread: My really weird dreams

Well first of all one must consider what the spine is used for. Mainly support for your body, it connects the brain to the rest of your systems, and it is often used as a term for courage ("That slimy barnacle has no spine!") etc.

Maybe he was eating the part of you that needed him for support.

i always see ppl's face in my dreams....

i really hate those kind of dreams, ones that stir up emotions, really strongly.

This person was someone that you think cared for you a lot, which is why you envisioned him in your dream to be sad.

as for the spine? just random dream-gibbering. dont bother trying to work that one out, its just nonsense in your dream.

i had anoter dream about him last night. I met him at a campground that i go to, and in my dream i went to our campground and went to visit his trailor, just for old memories sake. In real life, his mom sold teh trailor, and now it belongs to someone else. In my dream last night, someone else was living in the trailor too. Well i snuck into this trailor while the other people were still in it, and one of them woke up and caught me. She understood why i broke in, and didn't freak out, but she said i should leave before her brothers come in. Right before i was about to leave, her brother pulled up, and she was like "hurry, hurry you've got to hide! run out this door!" wich was kind of odd, becauseif this happened in real life, she could have just said i was her friend or something, but anyway, i ran through the door and there were here brothers outside. They didn't freak out, but instead tey were like "do you know the kid who died that use to camp in this trailor?" and i said "yea, his name was Jon, why, have you seen anything weird lately?" wondering if Jon was haunting the trailor, and he said, "i haven't seen anything, bt at night, we can feel someone pulling on our fingers. and i said "ohh," and i was leaning up against a bar thing, and my legs started to float, and i knew it was Jon doing it. And everyone around me noticed it too. i felt embarassment in my dream, while the dream characters were freaking out. one of them were trying to push my legs back down, but they kept going up, as if i was in a pool and the gravity had no effect on me. I trust jon so i just let go, and closed my eyes. And in my dream, there really was just black, like i had closed my eyes. and the feeling i felt was amazing! it felt like i was being lifted up really high and really fast, and then being let go and falling, but i felt safe. and when the feeling stopped, with my eyes still closed, i felt around me and i was on the ground. then with dissapointment, i thought i had been on the ground the whole time. it's a shame, because i could have became lucid if i would have realized that in reality, your legs don't just all of a sudden float in mid air. lol but i just think it's weird that i keep dreaming about him. this is two nights in a row. mabe it's just cuz i think about him in real life all the time. does this dream mean anything?

I don't think it's anything to worry about. You simply cared for him a lot and your thoughts are being interpreted by your subconscious. At least this time he wasn't trying to eat you. If he starts appearing more often you might be able to use him as a dream sign.

I don't know if i mentioned it, but he was actually my boyfriend, but we broke up before he died. Sometimes i think he's in my house, watching over me. I don't know if anyone has ever heard of an orb, (i don't really like to call it that) but if you've seen paranormal shows, they catch souls on video tape and they look like little circles of light called orbs. Well i got some in my room that i took pictures of. i wonder if i could scan them and send them on here so you could see. One picture i took when my sister and i got our kittens, and i took pictures of them, and there's an orb on the wall. And this past christmas my mom took pictures of my cousins and i and there's an orb on my shoulder. It's weird because, there's no way they could have been a reflection of light, i've got pictures of a perfectly round bright orb in a dark fireplace at my home. So i wonder if it's him. I'll see if i can try to post the pictures here.

last night in my dream, i tried to fly off my porch and i fell. i couldn't do it. but i kept thinking in the back of my mind, "i can do this, i'm dreaming" but i couldn't why not?

it's just, lately my dreams have been so real, it's hard to tell for sure if i'm dreaming in my dreams, in the back of my mind i know i'm dreaming, but it's so hard to raise the quality. how can i speed up the process, or make me realize i'm dreaming for certain. i can't really describe what i need help with but hopefully you understand. lol

As for flying, it's not so much the thought process behind it but rather simply doing it. Here's a post with a bunch of flying techniques you can look at and try out if you think they'd work better.

My advice, practice your reality checks (RCs). They're a big part of becoming lucid for most ppl. I have the same problem and am having trouble reminding myself to do RCs, but they're just one of those things that you just have to find out how to remind yourself. Try to look for something that happens often in your dreams, that way if you have something similar that happens IRL, you can do an RC at that point and hopefully you will start doing them in dreams.

Really? That's odd, I never see very clear faces. Interestingly, I am in the minority of the poll.

last night i had a pretty weird dream. I had a dream me and some girls were playing baseball, then we started to head into school, and this girl came up to me telling me i was pretty or something and that's why she couldn't tackle me (even though we were playing baseball lol) and i was just like, "um, ok thanks" and then i started to cough really hard in my dream and i coughed up a fetus of an unborn child and she looks at me and goes, "omg, you must have been pregnat" and then we went inside and i coughed up another one and she said "maybe it was twins" but this one survived, and i guess i had a kid, and the first thing it said was "DAD!!!!" it was really weird. it was a cute kid though. oh then, i wanted to take a picture of the other fetus thing i coughed up, and i went outside, and there was a little puddle of blood and the thing was gone!

u reckon u can post some how a pic of the orb like things, they sound kind of interesting. Im sure theres some way to do that.

in reality, i used to be "good" friends with a guy (you know what i mean) until i found out he was using me. Now we hate eachother and i never talk to him. last night a i had a dream about him. I had a dream that he was drunk and he took my car and backed in to somthing, totally destroying the rear end of my car. In my dream he felt sorry and tried to fix it. I could feel the effort he put into it and how sorry he was. And i could slightly feel that he was only doing it because he didn't want me to get him in troule with money and all kinds of things. I wonder if this could mean that inside, he is sorry for hurting me, although he doesn't really want to be together. something interesting in my dreams, is that i can always "feel" how another person feels. I can feel sadness, regret, guiltyness, missing someone (whatever a word is that describes that) happiness etc.
