Thread: A quick hello...

Well this is me, someone who just strolled in on these forums when I was investigating why I never had any memory of my dreams. I have been coming here a lot ever since and started to try some of the techniques discribed on the forum here. I found that I in fact dreamed a lot more then I ever thought. After some practice I found that I now remember sometimes up to 6 dreams per night. Though I still have nights when I dont recall any dreams but I think I can blame that on other things, not being focused etc.

I have yet to try becoming a lucid dreamer, for now I want to enhance my dream recall to experience what I have been missing practicly all my live. It may seem strange but before I started using the techniques I at most had maybe one or two dreams a year I could remember.

I've also been looking into ways to enhance my memory, not only to get better at remembering dreams but also to increase my capability to remember things in the "real" world. I tend to forget things a bit to easy, whether it be unconscious or conscious.
Therefore I started on a course wich teaches me to use my memory to the best way possible.

For the lucid dreaming part im thinking of doing a hypnoses session both for dream recall and forcing my subconcious to be aware that im dreaming and therefore triggering the lucidity, I dont know if this will have much effect but from what I have been reading here, selfhypnosis seems effective so why shouldnt it be when I get hypnotised by someone else?

Right, well, I hope to stay a frequent visitor to this forum and keep increasing my dreaming skills over time.
