sleeping, after experience of LD. Sleeping tabs?
I experienced my first Lucid dream a Few days ago and since then have found out about it etc and this site. But since then ive been thinkin about it as i go to sleep and havnt been able to get to sleep. I know this may be due to excitement about it and to calm down. But before in life i had trouble sleeping anyway and these last few days have taken sleepingtablets, as would do any time previously. do sleeping tablets affect me in anyway? Im slightly aggravated as i dont have much imagination in real life and am bit like a zombie but when i sleep its totally opposite.

taking sleeping tabs are most likely to make you dream less because they put you in a sleep thats too deep( i think)

Try other ways of relaxing yourself to fall asleep easier (the natural way). Breathing exericses, meditation, and reading seem to help me when I can't seem to fall asleep.
Also, make sure you aren't eating/drinking any caffinated products at least several hours before bed.
Also a routine sleeping schedule is important. Deviations in your schedule will throw off your body's sleep pattern making it difficult to fall asleep when you need to.
