Thread: Trouble with avatar

Hello, & welcome to the forum!!
I have photoshop now (got it Wednesday b4 last), so if you could kindly PM me the picture, I will help you downsize it.

If you're using a Windows computer, chances are you have the Paint program under accessories. It's rough but if it's all you have, you can copy and paste the picture into a blank page and then under the menu bar go to "Image" and "Stretch/Skew" and to shrink it put in a percentage. Then you can check to see if it's less than 100x100 pixels.

When you save it, I'd save one copy as a Bitmap, which won't load here because the file size is too big. But then, save another copy as a PNG, JPEG, or GIF file, which ever one looks the best and will put you under the size limit. If you need, you can also post a larger version here (or PM me, or nesgirl) and we can take care of it for you. Photoshop is a bit better to do that with, but if you're not looking for something spectacular...

Yeah, I guess so. Pretty cool, but I hope the newbies only PM one person about that next time!
