The date of the Apocalypse.
The date which has been fixed in the minds of men since the days of the Mayan Civilization.

The facts:
1. The Bible Code, which seeks number patterns within the Bible states that the world will end at this date due to a meteor collision.
2. This date coincides with the end of the Mayan Calendar.
3. Nostradamus wrote about this day in Les Propheties.
4. Saint Malachy(1094 - November 2, 1148), an Irish bishop, wrote a series of Latin phrases on each of the Popes. He said of Pope John Paul the Second that he would be the Sun's Labour.
Pope John Paul was born and died on a Solar Eclipse.
He claimed that Pope Benedict would be the last Pope before the Tribulations began.

can't dispute that logic! So what is everyone going to do with their remaining few years? I'm going to build a robot cockroach that will save my dna through the appocalypse and will be programmed to rebuild/repopulate the human race. Then when the time is right, I'll be cloned and brought forth as the king of the new world!

The day you speak of is December 21st, 2012, or around that time. It's the end of their long count calender that lasted for thousands upon thousands of years. December 31st is the end of our calenders, does the world end every December 31st? No.

When they explored Mayan ruins they found many calenders, all of them had an end on it. They're just sticking to the long county calender because it went on for thousands of years and just stops.

I've never heard about this, and I don't care to either, he's wrong.

So, 3/4 of the sources are bad, possible 4/4, more than likely it is 4/4.

Every single year has countless predictions that it'll be the last one for mankind, yet they've all failed so far. What's so great about 2012 being the one to end? People need to quit clinging to this date like a piece of sticky poop on a butthole. Yeah, something will end on December 21st, the date. We'll click over to the 22nd and people will probably be like "ZOMGZ ANOTHER 1999."

The world won't end in 2012.

The world wont end, but it's a cool date nevertheless...

By coincidence (or perhaps not) that date is the same when the ecliptic and galactic plane is paralell (sort of) and our solar system will begin it's journey below the galactic plane. Solar activity is also theorised to be the highest in 25000 years, because venus, saturn and the center of the galaxy crates a big drag from the same direction at the same time. Also there will be cake.

That has been inferred because The Glory of the Olives is the last one, but he didn't actually say that.

Anyway, who knows. There's something bad on the way that's for sure, but society has to get worse before it gets better. It's what comes after that I'm looking forward to.

I do know it's not going to be the apocalypse. People have inferred that as well, but prophecies from this period refer to a chastisement which is to come before the apocalypse.
