The idiot that spoils this and makes him make this topic in, say, The Lounge - because you say it doesn't go up again - is an egghead. And that's a serious insult! Let him have the illusion your post count goes up here and it'll save us a lot of crap in non-Senseless Banter subforums.

I think posts in senseless banter should be the ONLY posts that increase your post-count.

It wasn't exactly a good idea, they were punishing him for being an attention whore (basically), and what better way is there to make somebody feel more important than to make them the first one with -5000 posts?

And yeah I agree MSG, although it was sorta fun, it only increased his number. Maybe it was negative, but it does have 4 digits (the first one being a 5) and he's the only one to have it, so I guess ePenis++. A better punishment would probably be to make it 0, but hey, it's all in the past.

Oh well. He's not around anymore anyway.

It doesn't count towards your total post count, but it keeps track of your posts in here anyway (your total post count and you individual post count per board are kept in different variables).
