The colors match the personalities/emotions, but idk why the shapes remind me of them aswell.

I associate personalities and colors with numbers, and even words depending on how they are written. (Like the penmanship).
I don't really know why but I think that:
One is white1 Neutral
Two is blue2 Calm, nice
Three is green3 Not really sure.
Four is orange4 Not really sure.
Five is red5 Mean.
6 is yellow6 Happy
7 is idk
8 is blue 8 Sad.
9 is blueish purple9 Not really sure.

All multiples of five are black. In the event the number is a multiple of five and begins with a two (20, 25, 225, etc) it's midnight blue. Some large numbers have a transition from one color to the next. Orange is usually applied to "ugly" numbers in my mind, which might have to do with most primes. Nineteen doesn't count, and also looks green.
That's the way numbers have always appeared to me upon imagining them. I do not associate emotions with them, however, and there is no particular rule or pattern that applies to all numbers across the board.

Women associate people's personalities with......their personalities. We associate colors with IMPORTANT things like toe nail polish. Life is easier this way. We can lose brain cells, while painting kitchen walls and huffing, without worrying about our ability to remember prime numbers, multiples and wtf? associations......
For a small fee, I can teach your mind to become lazy.(lol)
It's not voluntary, Liz, and does not require remembering.

[Edit] This sounds like a topic that's geared more towards generating serious discussion. Unsuitable for Senseless.

This sounds a lot like synesthesia.
Synesthesia is a neurological condition when your senses are linked, or one sense will stimulate another. That's to put it as simply as possible. For example: projecting color onto letters, seeing color for songs, tasting words, etc.

Maybe this is mathematic mnemonic device used consciously or unconsciously by math scholars?
I asked various people including my relatives about it in past, and all of them said that they do associate colors with letters and numbers. So it's a normal thing I'm sure. There are differences in colors that come up if you start comparing, but everybody has such associations.
I associate emotions with certain numbers. For example, I cannot explain why but I get an almost uncomfortable vibe from 4, or an impatient feeling from 7, or a frantic feeling from 9, or a calm feeling from 5.

Mine don't have to do with the amount of the number or multiples or anything, but the shape of it rather.
... it's weird

I wrote a short bit explaining my ideas about harmony/personality within numbers.
Don't feel like pasting the whole thing:

There are my ideas.
