Feedback about the avatar of the poster above you.

The first game, What do you think about the avatar of the poster above you?, was quite a success. It was cleaned due to the senseless clean-up, and there was a lot of stupid posts like "it's a melon cat".

Please, don\'t post in this thread if you don\'t accept these rules!
Don't think about those damn kangaroos.

Hey Hate...just because Ice cleaned up the forum DOES NOT mean that senseless has changed. It's here for a reason.

And just so you know...that is NOT a god damn MELON on the cat's head. It's a pummelo.
      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pummelo

Anyway...Harri...your pineapple avatar confuses and intrigues me. I mean, it's just a slice of pineapple...which happens to be one of my favorite fruits therefore I like it, as well as its simplicity...but the meaning is what confuses me. It reminds me of a cake or a piece of meat where they just put a random pineapple slice on top. I mean, what's the deal with that?

Yea, but originally I meant that thread to provide people with some good feedback about their avatars, but it failed. Now that Ice cleaned it up, I thought that there would be a chance to try again. So, this thread is also here for a reason

PS. Skip my post and write about Nina's brand new cool avatar.

I think Nina's avatar is absolutely perfect for her personality, it's a lot like her other one, which was her own self, but this one of course, is a handrawn representative of her. The girl actually looks a little peeved, or just slightly evil with her dark hair and cattish green eyes; very reminiscent of the girl from The Ring, albeit dressed as Alice in Wonderland. The avatar also matches the sig, which is something I appreciate very much: it gives the poster, in this case, Nina, a sense of a "theme". Nina's new theme is "badass Alice in kickass Wonderland", which is a very self-explanitory title, and even though I just made that up, I think it just might stick.

I like the way you always theme your avatar & signature. They complement each other to create a delicious buffet that I can savour on my palette, contemplating the delightful tastes as they roll smoothly across my tounge subjecting me to the unrivaled perfection that they undubitably are. (Is that good enough for you?)

But seriously, it's a good avatar. I know instantly what it is. But it needs borders. Ever noticed how I always put a border on my avatar? That's because I hate seeing images "pasted".And you can do the funky rounded corner PNG transparency effect too. It makes everything look much nicer. NICER. NEAT. *twitch*

Don't think that the Link thing really reflects your personality. Unless, judging by your signature, you happen to be a CGI character who appears to be about to get an ass kicking from the man/snake/puppet thingy that's sneaking up behind him.

Isn't Aquanina's new theme American McGee's Alice? Anyway, Kaniaz's cat looks very cynical, funny stuff! (I think Hate described the avatar well enough already!)

Nina's avatar rubs the lotion on its skin
or else it gets the hose again.

No, but her avatar is awesome. It suits her just fine when she doesn't have a sextacular picture of herself as her avatar. I give it 11 fingers. I also loves that game.

The medium of Yume's avatar looks to be pencil, although it could be grayed ink. The style is realist. In any case, also figuring in the clothing, it looks like an antiquated illustration. Perhaps one depicting a man tending to his ill wife, or sorrowfully embracing his dead one. Perhaps the woman is his daughter instead. There are just so many scenarios one can see in it. His subtitle says "tragedies are perfect to perception", which leads me to believe that the woman is in fact dead or dying.

Compared to another one of his recent avatars, i.e. the photo of the sniper, it is very fragile and eloquent. Also, it features two main persons, one male and one female. This could also represent Yume, who is admittedly a little bit of both, in essence.

      ...

I hope someone like Girismyleader or someone else who also thinks Link is totally hot and sexy posts next...I\'d post myself, but I don\'t think that\'s allowed.

Rakkantekimosouka's avatar reaches into the depths of one of Nintendo's finest characters. It shows her love for anime and gaming. The boldness in Link's eyes show determination and calmness in him. He is a nice compliment to the gaming world. Everything that I have accomplished with link in all (Yes I have beaten EVERY Zelda game) these years has been wonderful. He has provided hours of entertainment for me. The boundless hours of mashing A buttons and hookshoting to different ledges have helped build coordination. The arrows have given me practice for first person shooters. I have gained a lot for the game. Link has become a great friend. I only wish he was better in SSBM.

I like how Ramu can take a character and personify herself with it. Even if I don't like that character it's still funny.

Based on similar images, Yume's avatar appears to be an etching/engraving depicting English life in or circa 1748. The dark red border and black fleur-de-lis seem to be added on top of the original image, however, even if so, they compliment it very much; emphasizing the picture, the exchange between the two, frozen in time.

I always love Ramu's dynamic avatars and seeing Link brings back good memories of playing the original Legend of Zelda on the NES.

PS - It does appear that Link is doing some pretty serious pelvic thrust.

FYI, he's struggling to get up after being osuwaried eight times... Gah, forget it, just forget it...

ITM's avatar is new, with few colors, like his previous one; this one however, is the head and scarf of an old woman, with light blue hair; and the acronym "GILF" -- which I just discovered is ripped from a T-Shirt design, and stands for "Grandmothers I'd like to F***", parodying the apparent trend of "Mothers I'd like to F***" (or MILF), inspired by the movie American Pie. I did not see that movie, but I seem to appreciate this mockery of the macho, stereotypical male fad it began. I am no longer an extreme feminist, however, any woman who's every woman (and apparently some men too) can appreciate a move like this.

I know I'm not really one to say if she looks sexy or not, but to be honest, I really don't think she does. She has seductive looking eyes, however, the illusion is taken away by the 'I really don't want to be here' look on here face and her over use of fake tan.

(Before anyone asks, this is the same girl in that black an white avatar I had, that people seemed to like so much)

That one AI program in that one movie about that one thing with that one person. Y'know what i'm talking about. And then all the stuffs go splody. It really makes me think of the robot in the Game Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun: Firestorm Expansion Set. Either that or the matrix robot I guess. It's nice to match Doc's sig.

It's a little hard to make out, but I'll venture...a man in a trenchcoat flashing a naked, womanly statue? Being gray, it almost looks like a newspaper clipping...from under the title of "Strange Man Flashes Naked Womanly Statue; No One Seriously Offended, But City to Impose Fine Anyway". I guess it certainly "goes" with the name, as flashing oneself while wearing a trenchcoat and sometimes a hat is a fetish of many men.
