Not if it only gets one chance to run. Besides, wouldn't it make more sense for it to just go through the list? The most numbers it would have to guess that way would be 500...

Though your question might be the wrong one, now that I think about it. "Guess the number," doesn't really sound much like the Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything, come to think of it...

The answer is whatever lseadragon wants it to be. If I say 1 he says 2, if I say 2 he says WRONG! its 143, so there's no right answer unless you want to trust another human which only wants himself to be right and for this thread to grow in replys. I would at least appriciate the number be written down first, but yeah...this is just a forum.

No, there actually is an answer. When somebody gets it, I will tell them. And seriously, where could i write it down without someone finding it?
