Has Anybody Gotten So Sick From Alcohol...
Has anybody ever got so sick from alchohol that they couldn't bare to drink it again even after recovering from the hang over?
I used to LOVE drinking wine, but at my family Christmas party of 2006, I drank 12 glasses of pretty strong wine, and I got really sick from it. It has now been over a year later and the thoughts of even having a SIP of wine makes me want to throw up.
I was just wondering if anyone else has ever experiences this and if the feeling will ever go away. It makes me feel very sad because I miss being in love with wine. 
P.S. I don't know why I typed "gotten" under the thread title, I must be drunk.

Heh, I believe every person has mumbled the words "I'll never drink again" at some point in their lives (usually their first hangover after a night of puking).
First time I got really sick off of any alcohol was on this cheap-ass "wine" called Wild Irish Rose (blegh, just typing that made my stomach turn). I was in college and I figured this stuff would "build up my tolerance" (what a dork
).
Anyway, woke up the next day, had the shakes 'til at least the middle/late afternoon. I eventually switched to 20/20 (aka "Mad Dog") - a bit sweeter but just as bad. Never got as sick as on the Wild Irish Rose that one time, though.
Eventually I got wise and moved onto beer
