This morning, I went deer hunting and my brother and I both claimed our first deer! We both actually shot the same one so we both claim equal credit for it. It was a young buck, didn't even have antlers yet, but it'll have better tasting meat.

Well, first it already had a broken leg somehow, so he came limping up to Tyler's stand. He, not having my restraint, shot him three times, failing to score a real kill shot. He ran over near the pile of logs in a creek bed where I was sitting. He wasn't even 10 yards from me. I shot him once and that brought him down. He probably only weighed a little over 100 pounds, but the young ones' meat don't taste as wild as older deer. He was shot up pretty bad, but all the shots went into the guts and didn't hit the meat.
