This whole thread is a huge point of sarcasm. I am acting exactly like what an emo acts like. To put it simply:
Emo=emotional, it is not just held down to music geners. Emo can stand for anyone who tends to whyne or act depressed, mellowdramatic, pesamistic, or sadistic.Crazy, but that's how it goes!

look......
traditional punk rock songs dealt with the non-conformance to set social standards
and the isolation and anger rising from that non-conformance
emo (as it was originally was, anyway) was punk rock music that expanded out from this traditional mold to incorporate other feelings and emotions (including happy stuff)
it seems to have retracted back, to just....well, punk rock
