It's not so much fear as I don't want to end up with someone inexperienced having to probe around in my arm to find my vein.

So, back to what this thread was actually INTENDED for, WerBurN. PP

Hey, hey. Play nice in the sandbox, you two.

Giving blood is wonderful. And that's that. I've done it a number of times, and after the crap that happened in 2001, I was right there with everyone else. For some reason, though, I always get super pale whenever I donate blood and the nurses start freaking out like I'm going to suddenly drop dead or something. I always feel fine, though, and in fact I only got woozy once (totally my fault. I got up too quickly and didn't eat the cookie they give you--shame on me).

I love donating blood. It's selfish, but it makes me feel damn good that I'm actually helping someone without getting anything in return other than knowing that my blood may have given them another chance.

It also makes me feel good knowing that some of my blood makes it to Paperdoll's fridge. A goth vamp's gotta eat, too.

if I were to donate blood, I'd probably get so pale that the light reflecting from my skin would blind everyone. I'm already paler than anyone I've met.

Edit: I feel stupid because when I replied, the image wasn't working, but the second I hit 'submit' it decided to mock me.

the reason I took a picture of my hand (despite the cool arrow thingie) is because I love my hands for some reason...I like the way they look. *shrugs*
