Thread: The "Lucid Dreaming" Calvin Ball Game

Awesome game. Glad to see someone else reads Calvin and Hobbes.

In a sportscaster-like voice:

Man of Steel flies after Stephent91, leaving a sonic boom in his wake. Tackling him in midair, Man of Steel bears Stephent to the ground, wrestling the Calvinball away with ease, then turns and races for the opposing goal at a speed far beyond the speed of sound! Running backwards and using his heat vision to ward off any opponents, the man in the red cape is a true champion!

The invincible superhero cannot be beaten! His might is too much for the other players! He nears the goal with alarming speed and agility, zig-zagging across the shimmering blue grass of the playing field. What will he do next? Will he make the goal? Yes! He makes the goal with a stunning triple backflip and quadruple spin! But wait! What is this? The goal that was there just moments ago has vanished!

Hey, time out! Where'd you put the goal?!



Man, I do love Calvin Ball...

It seems that StephenT91 has turned the goal into the size of an ant! A goal far too small for any ball to fit into. While Man of Steel searches for the lost goal, StephenT91 sneaks up and snags the ball for Man of Steel! He turns into a groundhog and quickly burrows into the ground!

The crowd goes wild! *wispery* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! *wispery*

Who's the groundhog? stephen or the 'steel guy'? (I never heard of Calvin and Hobbes)

Anyway, D.G. appears out of nowhere, turns toward an angry Man of Steel then asks "No teams?"

Stephen is the groundhog. And Calvin and Hobbes is just about the best comic strip in existence.

Not to be out-done, Man of Steel turns the ground into water! While the small groundhog struggles to swim, he quickly snatches the ball, transforming it back into a more manageable size, and before anyone else can stop him, slams the ball home in the now full-sized, floating goal! What will Stephen do now?

While there is a brief interlude, Man of Steel answers DreamGlimpse's question, "Only teams of one in this game, unless you decide to change the rules, and can find somebody to trust enough. The name of the game is making up new rules to change and break. Hobbes tends to win, though..."

Hearing 'tha' x-plaining, D.G. decides to 'magnetize' the ball to his nice ball-magnet shoe.
'yeah'
Then he kicks it back to the same goal, multiplying the ball until it's over a hundred.

Unfortunately, the ball is still attached to DG's shoe, having failed to de-magnatized it. All of the other Calvinballs that he multiplied are also attached to him, but that doesn't worry Amethyst. She knew which one it was. Using a freshly sharpened pencil, she hurls it at the button that will demagnatize DG's shoes and release the ball.

Yes! She's done it! A slightly the worse for wear DG is confused at what has just happened, and in the confusion, Amethyst snatches the real ball and heads back toward her own goal line, ready to take on anyone in her path...

Except...

... Stephen who turned into a dolphin just before he drowned! Stephen leaps from the water and does a triple frontflip and whacks Amethyst Star in the face!

Grabbing the ball, Stephen quickly teleports to the moon where a zero gravity goal is awaiting!

Jdog teleports in front of him, hes holding an AK47 and procedes to pump bullets into stephan91. stephan drops to the ground and Jdog grabs the ball. he teleports to new york city and tries to hide in the crowd

i kill all of you then convert this thread into a discussion about puppies. GO!

Stephen does a nose rc and realizes that he is dreaming and turns from a puppy into Godzilla!

Luckily for Stephen, Jdog shot somebody named Stephan and got the wrong ball. Stephen rampages through Hong Kong knocking over buildings and chinese people all over the place! He hurls the ball and it is travelling at supersonic speeds torwards the goal!

Amethyst dons a ultra light-weight platinum mit and catches the ball without any damage to herself. Looking around for a moment, she dives into the ground and begins to burrow towards the goal in the center of the earth.

While Amethyst is burrowing, Stephen teleports all of the goals to Mars. Amethyst gets out of the ground where the goal should be, but is wondering where the goal went. Just then, BOOM! Stephen sent a groundhog with a bomb on it's back to follow Amethyst through the ground and it finally got her!

Through all the shrapenal and smoke Stephen spies the ball and uses the force to make it come to him!

D.G, being 'far away' wears a ring, enabling him to freeze and move when frozen.

Then he turns the ball into an 'ally' which teleports back to him before turning back into a ball. D.G then, thinking the frozen body would be helpful in Mars, gets behind the goal on the Red Planet in a blink of an eye.

He gets in front of the goal and kicks the ball into it. Score!! :p

But wait! The ball went straight through the net! THE GOAL WAS A HOLOGRAM! The crowd goes wild! Hissssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

Stephen drop kicks D.G. in the face and knocks his head off! His head is pissed, but before he could say anything, Stephen turns his head into the ball and starts running to the real goal that is on that face that's on Mars and was in that movie. Mission to Mars I think it was.

D.G grows a new head, burns the new ball (his old head) then chases the old ball, goes to the goal and watches dramatically as he kicks the ball into the goal, with the net pwned by the ball's impact.

Wait, that's not a goal!
It's a UFO disguising as a goal! And the next moment Mars and Earth was covered in millions of UFOs!!

Bouncing from UFO to UFO, Stephen runs to get the ball. The UFO's start to turn into plates with lots of food on them because Stephen is hungary.

He kicks the ball into the butt of a turkey which had the goal on the inside.

Yay!

But wait!

It seems the turkey's butt-hole (change the word 'butt' into 'ass' and you've got a swear word) is too small for the ball! Before the ball bounced off into outer space, D.G rockets to get it! He kicks, and the ball travels at light-speed to the Great Red Spot in Jupiter!

He visualizes a sofa and sits back to watch the show.

Too bad there was no goal there.

After 15 minutes of the ball being swirled around in 300 mph winds, it got shot out and landed on Uranus. Hehe

Stephen teleports to Uranus Hehe and grabs the ball. He turns the ball bite sized and eats it because a goal is in his tummy.

Uranus. Hehe

D.G does nothing because he is too busy relaxing in his sofa

While D.G. does nothing, Suttsman launches at 2x the speed of light from his home base on Triton (Neptune's moon) to Uranus, where Stephent has just scored a point. Using his new Water-God powers, he expels a bunch of water form Stephent's body, including the ball and the goal. He normal-sizes the ball and the goal and slam dunks the ball through the goal. Victoriously, he spikes the ball 13 miles into the surface of Uranus.

Grod turns into a huge ape, and using his awesome ape powers creates a blackhole/infinite goal where he throws the ball into, winning for eternity.

Carousoul takes an AK-47 and goes on a rampage shooting all the players; there are four 9 deaths.

He then takes hiw own life.

Suttsman was not killed (God) and to make Carousoul suffer, revive him again.

He then gets another calvin ball to play with. He tosses it in the air for no reason.

Stephen pretends to catch it, but fakes it so that it ends up hitting suttsman's head knocking him unconscious.
