      I've always heard that you get better quality from an Epiphone than a Squire, but I play an Ibanez, so what the hell do I know.

      What style do you play? I think that should be one of the biggest factors in your decision. SG would be cooler for more aggressive music, but then again, with some decent pickups a Jagmaster would be cool too.
