SENSELESSNES BANTER HEHE

Its about the fact that people + limits in a forum means a crappy message board. People need a place to be spontanious and stupid or else the lack of fun builds up inside them and then they start flaming. If it werent for senseless banter, DV would have been set on fire years ago. Which is what happened once:

But, unfortunately the admin couldn\'t take the constant grief, which persisted (and even escalated) even after (ironically) expressing his concerns regarding that incessant grief.

Once again people refused to stop for a moment to consider that I just might have had a reason for saying what I said...that just maybe I\'ve encountered the same issues again and again, and was just hoping for a LITTLE UNDERSTANDING of where I was coming from. Apparently I was hoping for too much. Even if I was out of line with some of what I said, it would have really been great if people could have simply considered that perhaps now was not the right time to assail me once again.

Someone gave me some good advice once: if you can\'t change it, let it go. I tried and tried to fix things, but ultimately there will always be self-centered thoughtless people, and I cannot change that. Apparently it was too much to hope that maybe, just maybe, someone might consider that perhaps I have a lot going wrong in the real world, and just wanted one thing to work out. Oh well...I guess I\'m naive.

Anyway, this forum no longer exists.

I remember I had about 7 posts when that happened...but I thought Senseless Banter existed back then -- didn't it?

Um, yeah, it always was. It went down for enteriely different reasons.
