Thread: teh awesome classes

hm..I'm sure I've felt that before. but I don't remember right now.

Nope.

But I can recall millons of times I would just sludge through waiting for the damn lesson to hurry up and end.

When I signed up for Creative Writing in High School I thought it would be like that till I quickly learned,

Creativity will not be tolerated!!

We will tell you what to write!
We will give you guidelines!

Ok....I'll get off my soapbox now.

circuit analysis was like that, so were some of my Philosophy classes.

I've had a class like that, but halfway through it I got bored and it wasn't so fun anymore.

same here... my college writing class started off really good. then the semester break came around... now i hate it. the teacher's being an ass and we have a semester project where i have to write a 30 page paper and i have to do all the research myself... like go out with a survey and ask people to take it, then analyze their responses... GAH!

Haha. Yeah, that was how it was for me in HS. I'm taking a Fiction writing class this semester though, and it's great. Our first assignment was, "write a half page descriptive narrative about anything. The junk in a drawer. I don't care." XD

My old art class made me feel like that. We sometimes would just sit down and talk about stuff. Philosophy, politics, Art works etc.

To me that was a great class.

Advanced Music Theory. Enough said about the greatest class ever.

That's how it started out but then we got a student teacher and it went downhill from there.

Not yet, but I had one that was the opposite an hour ago. Linear Algebra, interesting but it's so slow (and easy right now) I almost fall asleep.

The creative thing about manuals is the way most of them seem to be written in Japanese and they still manage to get people to buy their product.

My English class is going over nouns...

... in 9th grade.

It's gonna be a long school year.

Oh, oh! My Drafting class.

We have 3 hour labs in which we use Solid Edge, which is an AutoCAD program (I think).

I finished in 1 hour.

That's fucking awesome.

It sucks that im in a school full of dumb kids. Nobody cares about philosophy and physics, I feel like im the only smart one =(

History class. Currently taking World History pt. 2 and love it.

Everyone else hates it though. ;_;

I hear ya, im in 9th too and im doing geometry, the highest level math in my grade, and were doing equasions, like 3x-9=5x+3
just made that up but, ive been doing the same crap since 6th grade. quite annoying...

My World History AP class is awesome. My teacher is so cool. One day the whole class was talking super loud and she just walked to the front and said "Boobies!". And everyone completely stopped talking. x-D

But yeah, everything else sucks.
