Time to take my leave

Please read this whole thing, I know its long, but its important.

Well, its been a fun 7 or so months since I first signed up.I've met a lot of people, some I liked, others I didn't.

I've learned alot about Lucid Dreaming since I signed up here, ranging from how to control your dreams up to just remembering them.Theres been alot of helpful people here, and some funny people...then theres those who just don't understand how to be funny, and lack a sense of humor.

But thats not why im leaving.No, Im leaving because I've learned what I can from here, made some friends, but I don't think theres anything else for me to learn here.I've thought about staying and helping people, but I figure the Dream Guides have that covered pretty well, so there isn't really much left for me to do here except converse around, but I need to start getting out more in the real world and conversing with real people, and stop spending so much time on the internet, even if its with people I find amusing on here.

I think my biggest accomplishment here was just remaining as long as I did.I usually only sign up on forums and after a week or 2, I forget about them and lose intrest in what I was researching in the first place.But something about these forums kept me around, so im thankful for that.

And yes, I thought that was a funny joke. Expecially when lost soul replied with a blessing farewell.

It points out well peoples tendancy to jump straight in without fully listening!
How can we help people if we dont listen?

Glad you're not really leaving us, Kastro -- I hate seeing all these people who announce they're leaving for some reason or another...not one I've seen yet is truly justified. I've gone through a whole lot of rockiness around here, but in the end, I remain. If I can withstand all the rocketing ups and plummeting downs around here, then so can anyone else.

Or maybe Lost Soul is tired of people being idiots, so when she sees a 'goodbye' topic (because everyone feels they are SO important that they need to make one) she sighs and thinks to herself "there goes another one." Maybe Lost Soul is getting irritated with all the shit that's been going down on the board and is a little too eager and ready to see people start shoving off so this forum can get back to being the awesome forum it used to be. Maybe all of you are wearing her down with your senseless seriousness and she can't tell what the difference is anymore because essentially it all ends up to be senseless anyway. Maybe Lost Soul should be the one posting a stupid "goodbye everyone" topic in the announcement forum (when that's not even what it's friggin for anyway). To be quite serious, the same has happened to me multiple times. It is why I leave for some amounts of time and come back. My history is that I always return to things, but I am never with them constantly. I've been absent here for a month or so and have just resurfaced in the past day or two. Dunno how long i'll be active, but whatever. I'll look for interesting stuff and offer whatever wisdom I may have.

I agree that the forum is doing better now than when we went through the slough of trouble-makers. However, there seems to be more misunderstandings on behalf of the members. And honestly guys, if you have a problem, let one of us on the staff know about it. If we don't know, we can't fix anything! Also, if you have a problem with another staff member, PM a different staff or one of the admin. We may be a little partial towards our own, but I promise that we will seriously take into consideration what you have to say.

The Announcements Forum is for people making valid announcements. No offence, but by putting "just kidding" on the end of your message it lost its rights to be in that forum. Thought I'd try to clarify a little.

I try not to be that senseless....usually the stuff I talk about being senseless has to do w/something beyond dreaming, or something...
Don't worry, we are all here for you, & as long as I never get banned again, I will never take my leave....like it here too much!!
