      what is all this talk about "malac"

      because i am looking through tutorials and i am seen donj't pull a malac?

      what in the world is a malac?

      malac sounds like the name of a user if I'm not mistaken.

      It basically has to do with starting a thread that says something along the lines of:

      "HEY GUYS, I HAVE THE GREATEST TECHNIQUE EVER! GUARANTEED TO BE 100% EFFECTIVE!!! IT IS FOOL-PROOF!!!"

      Then, saying that you're "working on putting it all together and you will post about it soon" - garnering attention from the interested - you disappear for a while and let conversation and anticipation fester. Then, after some length of time (days...weeks...) you either come back with some lame, superficial, tried-a-million-times-previously technique, or you just don't come back at all.
