Thread: What illegalities have you commited?

When I was a kid, I once set a garbage can on fire, and was chased down by a garbage truck .

More recently, I got busted for jaywalking. What kind of pussified legal system makes jaywalking illegal? It should be merely "non-recommended", or "do it at your own risk."

I've jaywalked, underage drinking, drugs use, and other petty stuff.

I just want to warn y'all to think VERY carefully before posting to this thread. Nothing posted anywhere on the net ever really goes away. The day could well come that you regret having made this kind of thing openly available to the world - especially if your real identity is revealed or becomes linked to your user name.

For many and most, this is never going to matter. For some, it could impact opportunities, jobs, ambitions and more.

Hmm... I've done lots of things I wasn't supposed too, but I don't think most of them were illegal.

- i've jaywalked
- when I was three I stole my moms lipstick and drew all over the walls of the apartment hallway with it (theft + vandalism )
- when I was six I took my brothers allowance...

- and yes I DO breath other people's air as well

Other than that I think I'm okay... (Then again, I'm still only 14) Is driving a dirtbike without a licence illegal? (It was on private property)

Once I hijacked a thread. I never demanded it be taken to Cuba, though.

Nope that is fine. You can drive a car with no licence on private property, of course you need the land owners permission

I've never been arrested, but I've done a lot of bad stuff. Especially for my age, I'm only 17.

Underage drinking
Driving without license
Speeding (like, over double the speed limit LOL)
Possesion of drugs
Does drug paraphernalia count? My room is full of it
Theft
Vandalism
Illegal knives
Assault
Breaking and entering

This list makes me sound like a bad person. I'm not, really.

Well eh, jaywalking, but that's not a chrime. We call it a "forseelse" in Denmark, I have no idea what it's called in English.
Other than that, no I do not remember any illegal things. Nope. I'm good guy :p

That's an excellent point. I remember reading about some teacher who got denied her degree cause she was drinking (out of an unmarked glass) on her facebook profile photo. I think she sued the school and won. Good for her.

I rode my rollerskates in a dorm this last semester. The janitor told me to take them off and the next day there was a notice on the main door reminding people that rollerblading inside was not allowed.

Yep. That was my wild college day.

Just the usual experimentation with drink and stuff... Nothing too bad I dont think.

Jaywalked on countless occasions (is it really illegal in other places? People do it all the time in the UK, especially London)

That's all I can think of, I don't think the public would hold it against their prime minister :p

Years and years ago a friend and I accidentally started a forest fire in the woods outside my neighborhood. The fire got on the news and everything, and my friend and I pawned it off like we were the ones who first discovered it (we "saw the smoke rising out of the woods"). We were heroes.

I've never done anything illegal besides traffic violations and I've never got caught on one of those. Just lucky I guess.
