You don't need to bring any alcohol. It's super cheap there.
OK, well, if you like to smoke.. then bring a Rasta t-shirt or something. You'll be offered some immediately.
Bring some sun screen though if you're going out on the beach a lot, and def a digital camera.
There's not too much more than you might think. I go to Mexico a lot, and I don't think I've regretted not bringing something yet... though, yeah, I'm always thinking I'm missing something.
