I would be interested to hear that story......
I was wondering about that the other day,
because I here stories about people who went from uptight businessmen to laid back tree huggers in one experience. This was during the sixties.
I was making up a scenario in my head, where after a trip, he comes back to DV and is completely differently.
I don't think it's going to happen though, and I would have less fun reading his posts.
Thats my thought.
Oohhumm

Is this really necessary question?
I am hoping this is intended in a joking manner and Brady Baker knows that. If not he has every right to have it locked.
Harvard had done studies and found that LSD made some of the brain dendrites to branch out. Which led them to believe this could make them smarter.
IMO I still believe to this day that low dosages and no more than five experiences with this drug, can enhance your mental capabilities.
IN B. Bakers case, I don't think he needs to.
Why would suggesting that someone take acid be offensive? I think that would be a compliment of the highest order. If someone wants to share an experience of a lifetime with you, or at least wonder what would happen if you had experienced it, that is great. Acid is indeed (as are other hallucinogens) something that changes your brain chemestry, and can in fact make you smarter. I don't think brady needs help in that area of course; he is an intellegent person that always has something cool to say. But why not speculate on what would someone would think/feel? Actually, if I were him, I would be happy someone wanted me to do something so profound. Plus the very fact someone was thinking about him in the first place should be a compliment.

Or he could come back damaged just as easily. There are any number of life changing events you could apply this line of reasoning to.
What if BradyBaker got hit by a car?
What if BB had a near death experience?
What if BB got a new puppy?
What if BB became a republican?
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Well, mentally perhaps, if he took Acid. But, I would hope that he'd be pretty strong mentally before he decided to try it.....
I sure hope that three out of the four things mentioned by you, Seeker do not happento him or anyone else, but I get your point. This sort of thing could be applied to anyone in result to any life changing situation that could possibly occur.
Perhaps we could have a topic that doesn't focus on one individual, but everyone instead?

Perhaps..It's very possible. I mean, the only reason why I thought that this thread way paying you the ultimate compliment, is because I am something of a hallucinogen fiend, myself. I mean, even speculation about what a person might do because of such an experience insinuates that they'd like to see you try it. That is wonderful....Originally posted by bradybaker

The reason I first brought attention to this is because who was to know where BB stood on this issue. And to post a thread a bout it could have been construed as an insult. as you can see By his response he jokingly took it as I had hoped he would![]()
Also. .. hallucenagins. You may want to do some research on them.
When an individual takes too many the dendrites that once had grown (making the person believe they have become smarter) begin to mutate and then become useless.
There are many subjects from the sixties that are a prime example of when hallucenagenics were readily used.![]()
The LSD experience is nothing short of amazing, though it can be scary at times. That's my opinion on it.

I understand, Howetzer. I hope I didn't offend you with my post, or mislead you into thinking that I was insulted by your post.

Well, if there has been one thing that Carlos Casteneda's books have taught me, it is this: Take the drug once every couple of years, and then take the times in between each usage to (at least) try to get to the same point without the drug. I know that it is indeed unwise to go around taking them rampantly. Actually, I am sparingly with them...I just am an advocate of their effects.![]()
