Being as how we got an alcoholic at the helm of our great nation now, it won't be long untill we take you (and every brewery and whisky still within your borders) under our wing!

Oh, come on, that's not even a fair fight. Celsius would win hands down. Even if you duct taped his arms behind his back, and had little pieces of duct tape over his eyes. And Fahrenheit could have a spear, even. Also, \"soda\" is a stupid word. It's called pop, get it right. The only time when you call it \"soda\" is when it's cream soda. I'll take my poutine and Tim Horton's over whatever it is that Americans substitute for those things any day! Don't even get me started on that ugly green money.

I'll take any excuse to pillage I can get. Last week my neighbour parked in my spot so I went and pillaged his house. Then I remembered that I didn't have a car and felt kinda bad. I didn't give the stuff I stole back, though. I didn't feel that bad.

I didn't even know anything in Canada was happenning in the first place. Oh and no, its not called pop. Why would anyone call it pop, it doesn't pop. Its not like you open the cap and hear a resounding *POP* noise. I call them all soft drinks. Some people down here in the New Orleans area like to just call them all Coke, but that doesn't make much sense either. And about the whole Celsius/Farenheit thing, I use Farenheit but we definitely should all switch to the metric system, its just so much easier to use than standard. Icedawg, let me know what you are doing to survive your country's downfall. I may need to know some good tips in case the Democrats come back into power here in the U.S. as our downfall would probably follow shortly there after.

Well they certainly don't make a sound anything like "soda". When was the last time you cracked a pop can and it said "soft drink"?

You know what, you're right. I haven't ever heard it make the "soda" sound. But I haven't ever heard it make any kind of pop noise either.

Sure you have. Think of it this way: a car engine is run by lots of consecutive explosions of petrol. But you don't hear BANG! BANG! BANG! when you drive a car, because the explosions are very fast, frequent, and muffled, so you hear a different sound. The popping noises made by bubbles in soft drink are very fast, frequent and quiet, so you hear more of a fizz. But it is really lots of little popping noises.

I am victorious.

Oh and by the way, once I opened a soft drink can and it said, quite audibly, "soft drink". So that terminology is justified. Mind you, I was extremely high.
