Reply With QuotePhotoshop is still the standard. It's primarily for manipulating photos, but can also do drawings. Gimp is a free alternative, it has its advantages and disadvantages.

I have literally no idea when it comes to choosing an art program (eg. Photoshop etc.) However I need one. I primarily need it for manipulating photos but I would like to be able to draw and create pictures with it as well. It has to be a fairly easy system to use as I have very little experience, as you may have gathered.
MODERATORS: I thought this would be better suited in Artists Corner than Tech Talk as the people who frequent it are more likely to have experience with what I'm looking for.*............*............*

It's a pretty simple (and free) program with a lovely interface and a healthy selection of features.
