Experiences:
Experience makes up 99% of my artistic influence. Nature and my own perspective of life really. Of course my life is influenced by many things especially art, but these things don't usually have a direct influence on my own art.

Movies:
- don't really watch much TV or movies

Music:
- Paul Simon, Tori Amos, Enya, Elton John, Billy Joel, Nora Jones...I'll add more if I think of them

Books:
- I don't really read much, but if I read some really good lyrics by someone, I'll set it to music.

Experiences:
- pretty much anything in the realm of romance inspires my music, usually in the extreme. Like intense love, or intense pain.

Other:
- paintings/art can sometimes inspire music. I like impressionistic and expressionistic artists, like Chagall. But I don't really favor one artist or another...just whatever gets me at the time. Even Salad Fingers inspired some crap once.

Beautiful wild life and nature makes me always want to capture it, or paint it to remember

Music: I think it'd be dumb to say any particular band inspired me 100% of the time, but sometimes songs really hit me and I listen to them several times. One would be Procol Harum - Man With A Misison.
Books: Same business with books, except books tend to be a more consistent source of inspiration. Sometimes really interesting sentences come up, or fasinating ideas and questions are raised. They're probably my favourite resource.

the interplay of light and water grows increasingly intricate and awesome every year. the sound of wind approaching through leaves, or a meadow.
