Very nice, CB. I really like it!
I like the way the poem sounds at the end. You have a great talent for things like that.
Did you redo any of the guitar...or is it the original recording?
It's a very pretty song.![]()
Here is another recorded song of mine from the studio at school, titled Look a Little Closer. Again, it's pretty different, and has a good message.
Originally, this was just a jam session between two friends of mine that just happened to be recorded (by accident), and one day in Socials class I decided to write a couple verses. I liked the way it turned out and decided to sing the words to the song.
Got into the studio on Monday, recorded it (decided to leave all the little screwups in there to give it a fresher feel), and realized there was a big gap of time near the end. Since I didn't want it to be some massive instrumental, I decided to write a poem and just speak it, because it was the perfect tempo and I thought it would really fit. The poem took five minutes and I couldn't of been happier with the end result.
The volume is really low when it got transfered - which will be fixed - so you're gonna have to turn your speakers all the way up for this one (not trying to scare you or anything).
And for those who don't like downloading mp3s from sites, here's the normal link..
Thanks, feedback is appreciated.![]()
Starry starry night, paint your pallet blue and gray,
Look out on a summers day,
with eyes that know the darkness of my soul.

It's an original recording, I just sang to whatever was laid down.
Thanks for listening.I thought the poem would work out perfectly. And I'm surprised, the lyrics didn't take me that long either, and when I look back at them I'm just surprised at how much more meaning there is to them.
Was the volume alright?

The volume is up higher, so all you without the highest quality speakers can listen too.
Oh, and I have two more songs that will be out within the next couple of weeks. Both are original compositions and completely different, they're going to be awesome.![]()

Hey---today's Friday....!
I wasn't able to get the songs up on Friday just because I ended up going to my grandparents for three days. The songs are on the podcast, so I just gotta figure it out and put it on the soundclick. Then you can hear it.![]()

Even though I PMed you about it already, I wanted to say again how much I like your new song.
It's Awesome!!!
You don't have a new thread for you new songs, so this will have to do....![]()

Hey, man. You should post all of your songs in the same thread, not start new ones.
Anyway, I'll be listening to it soon. I like the first one, about lucid dreaming. I see you have others on there as well.
How did I miss that?? I guess I didn't see anything by its name... Or maybe I'm just totally blind.
(me, blind)
Yeah, it's just that whenever I post a new song on this same thread people don't tend to pay attention. I was proud enough of the other song that I wanted to people to recognize, but I apologize anyways. I should make a 'Songs of CoLd BlooDed' thread but that would be the third, and I'd just have to repost them all. Oh well.Hey, man. You should post all of your songs in the same thread, not start new ones.
