Thread: DCs Say the Darndest Things

A series of funny ones:

1.) Standing next to my friend and we are watching something on T.V. about robot fighting. All of a sudden he turns and asks
"Why do you think robots taste bad?"

2.) I can't remember what this DC looked like but he said "When attempting a lucid, never take your towel off."
And I don't know why he said towel.

3.) I was standing on a street corner and a guy in a car pulls up and says " What do you think your doing!?"
"This is no place to be driving a paper towel car!" I looked down to see myself in a small paper towel car thing on a sidewalk..

Non-lucid dream from a few nights ago.

My friends and I were walking around Hong Kong (Really don't know) when one of them points to a 2 floor wearhouse saying 'Chicago is in there!' Being non-lucid, I never realized an entire city couldn't fit in a wearhouse. So we get inside, and the inside is exactly like my school. Again, I don't realize this (I have an entire page in my Dream Journal with 'My school is not Chicago' written in it now) and go up the stairs. Some guy is sitting at the top of the stairs, so I ask him if this is Chicago. He responds by reciting the days of the week in French.

Last night, a weird one...

A DC and I were standing by a tree, kind of hard to remember exactly where.
Note: I was lucid during this

Me: I'm bored. You're a DC, tell me what I should do...

DC: Without gravity, we'd float into space!

Me: Really?

DC: Yes, pickles are the only people you can trust.

At that point I just climbed up the tree and jumped to try to fly... and woke up...

DC "Caravans? Dirty carpets!"

My friend once told me in one of his dreams, he was in a car, and his dad was driving, then got some alcohol out. My friend said 'Hey, you're not supposed to be drinking', then his dad said 'No I'm not drinking, I'm drink-driving' :p

I was driving my car to my Dad's house and I was going to park on the driveway.

Me: "Can I park here?"
Dad: "Yeah, it takes 76-82 peasants to stop you anyway."
Girlfriend's Mom: "Duh."
Me: "What?"




PS: This new board sucks.

i have dreamed again!(finally)
but it was so weird
i heard voices and suddenly my best friend told me : hey max!(real name) i got your cd
i said what cd? mark(best friend): i dunno you said something about the cd
me: wtf dude your talking nonsense
mark: 3+3=17:61=261
me: alright mark were going to a doctor or maybe someone who can help you
mark: haha are you nuts its a dream right?
(i was so busy with talking to mark that i didnt tought about LDing)
me: no
mark: i didnt knew apples grew on a windmill
me: ooh god i get an headache
and than i woke up
strangly i still dont know if it was a lucid dream or not
i dont think so because i didnt had controle or i couldn think in the dream
but i could talk so its very weird:S

Anyway...

My friend and I were outside his house. I don't remember what we were doing, but I saw various balls on the ground.

Me: How come DC's always say stupid things?

Friend: I don't know. Maybe it's because we are stupid.

Me:..... are you stupid?

Friend: YOUR RIGHT!

At that point he gets up and runs through the yard screaming.

Steve Nash is the DC:

(Steve Nash, the Phoenix Suns NBA basketball star, I and a friend are in a white stretch limo, we are parked outside of a fast food place).

He says to me: "could you order me a burger, Skatchers and fries..."

Me: (i don't have a clue what Skatchers are, so i say...) "I'm sorry, I don't think I could remember that."

Steve Nash DC: "Thats Ok, I'll make the order" ...(he drives up to the drive-through order window).

(at this writing, its 2-3 weeks after that dream and just minutes earlier I have seen for the first time ever on the TV sports channel a commercial for Sketchers....selling a sports running shoe.....hmmmmmm...I am sure Steve Nash said Skatchers).

My friend's father: You can't win a line a drawbridge!

Me: Huh?

MFF: But The building!

Me: Huh?

MFF: I'll bring the mustard!


Also, I was in Manhattan once, and a bunch of people were in the middle of the street crowding around a stopped car and staring at the fender for some reason.

Um, anyway...I thought I'd add to this hilarious collection. Mine isn't half as funny as many in here, but some might find it amusing...

In this dream my friends and I were crossing this bridge (we had just left the city) and came upon a group of hookers.
Prostitute (trying to be seductive): Hey. Wanna unwrap a Christmas tree?
