I've been fairly tired today. I woke up around 7:30 and couldn't fall back asleep, so I layed in bed until about 10 and read. It was nice. But today's been a bit chilly and rainy, so I haven't really woken up. We'll see if I do before church tonight

I'm supposed to be telling the 6th and 7th graders about my upcoming year-long opportunity to Russia. We'll see if they pay attention any better than they normally do... or don't.

Today is not the best day of the year. It's queen's day, we celebrate the queen's birthday here in the Netherlands. Thing is, all people go loose, without even thinking about the queen. It's madness...

Yesterday was Queen's Day here, in the Netherlands. It's a national holiday, so everyone's the day off. Also, every year the queen visits another town. This time, a man drove straight through barricades, slammed some people and crashed about 15 meters from the royal family. So far, there've been 6 deaths, including the man who did it (he was trying to attack the royal family). It was supposed to be a happy day, but this screwed it all up.
